Wrath era servers?

Any news on if we’re gonna have WOTLK era servers or are we being moved into Cata?

Nope.

They’ve said they’re patching all the realms to cataclysm, meaning wrath will no longer be around. You should have played it while it was here.

It’s about the journey, not the destination. That said, wrath was probably better off without you.

Then maybe you should play it while you can.

He knows all this. He just likes to argue over something stupid. Obvious reality is that wrath content will be dead and gone, just like crusade is now. Furthermore, you’ll have cataclysm changes forced upon you, whether you want them or not, such as the destruction of talent pages.

No WotLK Era servers, they’ll be moving to Cataclysm.

Glad I didn’t waste my time if they’re forcing us into Cata.

“Forcing” aka updating to the better expansion objectively.
They didn’t force you to wrath. It progressed.

What a ridiculous take. So you’re saying the experience of Wrath has no value because you can’t play it forever? That’s a horrible message to send if you want Era servers. What you’re telling Blizz is you don’t want to play Wrath. You just like the idea of playing Wrath.

Vanilla and Wrath are the best versions of classic, they kept Vanilla but are making a mistake by not allowing Wrath to exists but instead move on to Cata which is one of the most despised expansions in WoW’s history next to WoD.

I figured they would go this route with Wrath since they did the same thing with BC which is why I didn’t invest time into something that would be erased.

It’s not erased.

And if you value the experience so little you don’t even play it when you have the opportunity, it’s laughable to think you’d play it forever. That just tells Blizz they’re making the right decision.

If we can’t continue to play Wrath when Cata is released then yes it’s erased.

I value my time, the point of Classic for me is to invest in a character that I can go back to whenever I please like in Vanilla.

At this point they are just repeating retail and that I have no interest in.

It’s not erased.

And the only message you’re sending is that you don’t think Wrath is worth playing.

Well then this Wafectus too can lose himself in a sea of cyberspace like the original one when the game changes around me into something I don’t want to play.

On one hand you have a version of the game where you cannot see what abilities enemies are casting, where they can put a 1 hour disease on you, where crafted items require an insane amount of mats, or a small amount of mats difficult to get, that are essentially worthless, with rep grinds that take a long period of time, and one or two ability rotations that have been described as “boring to play”.

On the other hand, you have a version of the game where you can take on 3 enemies at the same time easily, dungeons that are a faceroll, a levelling experience that is painful (20k exp a quest, need a million exp for a level), rep that easy to get but rewards nothing but an enchant (and a couple secondary pre-bis), that encourages raid logging, Outside of the, Time Lost Drake, Green Drake, Polar Bear, and breath underwater fishing pole, has nothing to do and actively rewards you to spend time outside of Northrend.

No objectively the best Classic is TBC, which fits comfortably in the middle between accessibility, being rewarded for hard work, appropriate difficulty, rewarding solo content, fair grinds, and making crafting items worth it. Not to mention having the best raids of the 3. Now if we’re talking about second place, that’s up to personal taste but I’d probably say Wrath since Vanilla is too tedious for me.

That’s not what objectively means.

It’s an objective fact, I’m sorry you don’t like dealing with them.

Nah, it’s just your opinion.
