I understand people always want to get the best players they can. But people demanding 90+ parse 4.9k GS + and things like this is just laughable. No wonder the game will die for casuals and people who don’t have time to play a lot. Let the elitist’s play with each other. The game is not hard and has been figured out 10+ years ago. I full cleared in 3 hrs the other day and we 1 shot Alg with all boomers who were drinking and just joking around and having a good time. That’s the WoW I remember, not this toxic parse culture community who can barely socialize. These raids are a complete joke to be taken so seriously same with H+ dungeons. People act like you’re doing a 20+ key/mythic raid .

I quit after BFA, but yes reminds me of retail. But atleast pushing 15+ keys and even heroic raids were much more difficult than any content in wrath and it was new content

basically. remember many retail players…were in wow “classic” the first time it was around lol.
this is not new lol. some of retail picked this up 13+ years ago lol.
well the heroic+ is new. and that has classic players who supposedly left in disdain…acting like the mythic d crowd.
classic players who left before WoD (?, that was mythic dungeon right…or legion, wod was for sure mythic raid) are jsut fast learners. they caught up to 5 expacs of bitter vet player habits…in like a week.
I can’t imagine how much worse it will get when H++ or H+++ comes out

I think the more casual players have been filtering out of the game since T5. Now, a significant chunk of the Classic players also play retail. So it makes sense that their way of playing is creeping into Classic.
You’re allegedly already in a guild that full clears. What do you care?

i just level characters and solo world pvp, it’s the most fun of thing about WoW. I’ve been playing solo since wrath mostly, outside of maybe 1-2 attempts to raid again with my real life friends.
“90+ parse 4.9k GS” is foreign language to me. gamers today… all about their spreadsheets.

anyone who has ever been in a bad pug and wasted a lockout can at least understand why people post such ridiculous requirements.
I have found that there will always be another group that is more accommodating. and if that other group gets their OP fill in then good on them but I dont lose any sleep over it

Nah. it was there before.
half the work of taking in wow refugees in eve around the time of tbc then wrath the first time 14 ish years ago was deprogramming (for lack of better wording) some wow crap out of their head.
gearscore was one of those craps. I didn’t play wow at this time. And I knew of it. I didn’t start till right before bfa actually.
the concept of doing real content, and not getting gear scored, blew their minds.
Hardmodes and H+ have some tough fights in them… It’s not asking much for you to be capable of doing them? I understand the “it’s 15 years old” argument… But H+ is new, and we have never been given Ulduar hardmodes pre-nerf. They nerfed the crap out of it and it had way worse loot back in the day.
So either you were progressing nerfed Ulduar, nerfed Hardmodes or regular heroics.
So to say they are exactly the same is misleading…

If you can stay with these players do that. That’s what makes the game. If not THOSE players others who think the same as them.
Filter out the rest and that will let you enjoy yourself. I’m serious.
There are a lot of people who play this game that I avoid and who I would never associate with in real life because I can’t stand that type of personality but when you find your crew of good people the game can still be fun and worth it.

I don’t get it you are already downing full ulduar hm so what’s the complain? Ulduar is full of dps checks so it’s pretty standard to invite people who is geared and know how to do dps.

Always cracks me up when the try hard comes in complaining about “sweaties” then says the content isn’t hard and they easily cleared it. Cool story, I guess…you are aware you can set up your own pug and invite whoever you want? Let us know how it goes when you do, your storytelling is riveting.

I read 3 posts today so far and in 2 of em the OP claimed they are 1 shotting Alg every week with no problem. I am so glad we have these many good players. I just wished I could see you in reality too.
You’re always going to be disappointed in pugs that perform worse than your main guild.
Some people are just incapable of determining good players from the bad, and you should consider them as filtering themselves out of your pug pool. You can’t expect to get along with every player in the game.
its sad that people hold others opinions of their ability in a video game so high that they cant take the time to click the forum avatar and select their main or at least drop their main characters name and server so that their claims can at least be verified.
