Incredibly disappointed by this. Thanks for holding my social experience hostage and forcing me to waste countless hours instead of being able to enjoy the social situations the way I want to.
LFG tool or RDF I’m not going to talk to any of these people ever again 99.9% of the time. You are literally kidding yourself if you think that whispering people for a binary get invited or not is a meaningful vector to “facilitate long-term friendship formation”
Let people engage how they want, RDF doesn’t make the content easier, it just makes it available. No RDF just means that I’ll make my guild run with me instead of doing stuff with pugs. I will actually interact with less people because of this change, and so will many people like me.
Can you please look into this error as I can’t play characters that were NOT part of the merger. It took my money to transfer as well until you return them back home.
Any give on faction transfers? I’m sure more people than not would be more likely to play the game longer on a character they’re already attached to and have meaning with than boosting a new one. Really though for my squad the problem is we have friends coming back, but we swapped factions in TBC, and they don’t feel like boosting/leveling a new character of the same class makes sense when they already have one, but at the same time it’s the class they want to play. I get the faction imbalance thing I do, but just as an input if you put it in sooner, rather than later, I think overall player count will stay up longer as people are playing where they want on what they want.
This will do nothing. Once people on fresh servers (if any even join) are done those areas will be as dead as a door. The LFD tool allowed people to keep progressing in a zone and leveling as they stayed away from the toxic LFG channel. The board isn’t going to change it from the board that we have now that isn’t used. Maybe you and the Blizzard team should play on some of the servers and see what is going on. Try to level on them past 10 and see how few people are in the areas.
Can we implement a cross faction bulletin board for factions with low populations? I’d love to create a horde character on Pagle but it is impossible to find a group for a dungeon as it is now.
If only blizzard had already come up with a solution that solves not only being on a low pop faction but a lot of other problems finding a group… oh wait they did it’s called RDF.
What does this have to do with anything? Classic is on an accelerated schedule, and there are a number of features already added early because it was necessary.
We’ll likely need RDF much earlier than the final phase - and we’ll certainly want it then, too.
