The odd part is they are doing a good job with the retail version so far. Lots of feedback with the class trees and while they have made some choices that peopple dont like, like the flying speed thing at least they talked about it. None of this classic stuff makes any sense at all and all they do is drop a blue post and run

I wish. Ppl were foolish to demand no changes in vanilla classic. I dont mean to gameplay and content. New graphics and animations were on the table. But the players stuck to no changes. They wantes a museum.
In order to be reforged, it would at least need updated graphics. This crap they are gave us was a 20 year old game and we allowed it. Now, to get us to pay them again, they are not giving us anything additional, they are taking features away.

But can’t players in the raid SOCIALIZE in between pulls?!?!? 
You could also say having to manually spam LFG and trade channels, spam requesting invites in the LFG tool, using a third party addon like LFGBulletinBoard and having to take care of summons for the lazy is also a waste of time and presents a negative effect on motivation and morale, too, yes?

You would think after six years of this battle between the players and the devs someone at the company would get a clue but they don’t. They made three expansions worse and shadowlands was an all time disaster with the covenent choices being locked. So now we get to wrath, in which all they had to do was release the game in the state it was in in 3.3.5 and they could not even do that.
On a side note I would love to be a fly on the wall in the meetings. Is it just one persons ego? Who are they taking advice from? I just do not understand it.

If they ever “update” the models and animations to the atrocity that is Retail’s, it will be the last day I ever play. I am extremely happy with them never touching that aspect and pray they never will. Never would’ve touched Classic otherwise. Hard line no changes when it comes to that. No hyperbole or compromise here.
But if you’re simply referring to like, draw distance, or reflections, or similar, then yeah sure whatever.

It’s mind boggling, they’ve been tanking retail for years by ignoring player feedback.
And now the devs think they can improve on wrath(the most successful iteration of WoW) by… ignoring player feedback… I don’t know if it’s just hubris or if the current devs just genuinely have no clue what made Wrath so successful in the first place.

for the most part, I love the updated models except blood elfs. too sneary like they have sticks shoved up where they shouldn’t be…lol
The night elves’ faces got widened considerably, and most of them look pretty similar too now. They also didn’t have eyelashes for like an entire expansion.
Yes. It is 2022. I am sure a lot of us have pcs that are way more capable of what we are stuck with. As you pointed out. I did not say retail player models. We would probabky disagree on those because i do like most of them better. But yeah, mostly highr detail, draw dustance, lighting effects… no reason they cant update graphics. As soon as they took away rdf they chose that they are no longer sticking to recreating the expansions as they were. They opened the can of worms.

Right. It was part of the experience. Just like ninjas. It was all part of the experience. Gotta love how thes jerks do something like this but then use the same argument for the reason for removing rdf. These clowns cant even decide what the rulrs are for the circus they created.

Lol. Wrll they would still have to offer ways to turn down some graphics.
I can play any game that doesn’t require AVX CPU extensions. It’s quite annoying…lol
