So, I got a response from Blizzard in a ticket, and they said you never logged into these level 1’s. Of course, I didn’t because less than two weeks ago, I had a 70 Tauren Druid, 2 67’s (Paladin and Rogue), and a 64 Shaman. They were replaced with level 1’s that haven’t logged into the game.
When I logged on to see the response that I created these characters but never logged in, I was like, I just logged into all of them not that long ago (less than a month). The CS acted like I created level 1’s and never logged them in.
Here’s the craziest part, my 67 Rogue, a level 1 on Faerlina, just appeared today in Sulfuras. Faerlina was not part of the merger, and I think what happened was I paid for a character transfer for the ones that were turned into level 1 alts, and I’m betting they transferred from a server that was part of the merger.
So basically, Blizzard ignored paid transfers (I’d like a refund then) of characters on the realms part of the merger regardless of where they came from. So I look at my Addon data, and sure enough, the ones MIA are there and have zone and dates last logged onto. So the CS response felt like go pound sand (I suppose nicely) like I was crazy.
So I guess if anyone paid for server transfers and that server was part of all the merging, it seems it was not even safe on servers, NOT part of the merger. But the CS must not have looked into this… I replied with details of the time I logged in and out and their zones. I had JUST logged onto my 64 Tauren Shaman not that long ago, but CS said I had never logged into that character, so it was deleted and now a level 1.
I replied back, when I hear a response, and if they move my Rogue, that just randomly only showed up today on Sulfuras back to Faerlina as I paid to transfer to Faerlina.
Sorry for typo’s, was typing this on my iPad.
Hopefully, this helped Blizzard’s devs see some major bugs and help others who may have been hit by this edge case of sorry about your luck but thanks for your money.
