To be fair I think at this point with megaservers and such cross realm can’t really hurt as much - there are some legitimate good QoL things that have come out of retail that don’t mean the gameplay has to be compromised
Wotlk is fine - imo the QOL items of retail should of been implemented cause of locked servers being bad for Classic WOTLK.
Legit only qualm so far is the LFG is kinda sus for random dungeons, no cross server or faction pvp, and thats about it. Everything else is fine
Yeah I mean everyone is raidlogging due to zero content in end game and 1-70 LFG is dead with 70-80 slowly dying as well but yeah no it’s fine, completely fine nothing to see here.
Yes, cross realm should have been implemented at the beginning of rated pvp in general.

Negativity breeds engagement for those that are otherwise too uninteresting to be engaged with.

How am I being negative? I find forcing positivity is more toxic than anything else. Telling people Wrath will be fine when there are a myriad of issues that are causing a ton of people to quit is imo not okay, you’re just lying to them.
Wrath doesn’t have glaring problems though - it’s just the main problems with a launch - massive wait ques 1 no cross content grouping 2 and LFdungeon/heroic dungeon que not implemented.
Raiding - Pugging - Soft Reserve - That’smybis is infinitely better than loot council groups. It couldn’t be easier content - just play for fun.

Lack of RDF is causing people who hit 80 to raidlog because leveling is painfully slow even with Heirlooms.
This killed off the Level 1 - 70 LFG scene as virtually no one is running content anymore and now 70 - 80 is also dying out and very few groups are going daily so people are just forced to quest level the whole way.
Not to mention the massive bot problem and people RMT’ing like crazy, the PvP scene dying out early and in general there being zero response from Blizzard regarding any of these topics.
One of the worst things imo is lack of cross server, you can’t even play with your friends as they locked all the main servers.
A good portion of the current level 80 scene has completed everything there is to do in P1 and are just raidlogged at this point because there’s no reason to keep playing, the replay value is not there.
I think people raidlogging makes sense - why not go enjoy life and play WOTLK on the side. no point to live on the game right now and thats healthier in 2022. No need to push arena yet either - slow grind the 10 wins in 5s till max gear and push.
I’m not defending WOTLK - it’s standing up quite well in 2022 and alot of people have really enjoyed this first month.
That in itself is a success - it doesn’t need to last.

And I find the opposite to be true, most people I know are incredibly disappointed with how everything has released and don’t plan on coming back unless major changes have been made. A quick peek at the Subreddit confirms that belief.
Everyone I have raided with in pugs and pvp are enjoying it so I take my small variance as maybe a data point. A subreddit of neckbeards will always post negativity Garmuck.

I’ve played with 300 people so far easily in Sulfuras in 2 weeks. Plenty of people are playing right now. Sure the subreddit has subscribed many people - but that doesnt mean anything if they are not playing actively.
That’s fine but you only have a singular perspective on a medium pop server, i’m showing you opinions that are not of your own that all say the actual issues behind Wrath.
It’s easy to take a small personal sample size and apply it as a broad brush stroke onto everyone else but that’s not really how data works, does it?
