Wrath already ruined

But then are missing out on the social experience of sitting in LFG channel for hours & hours listening to crude mom jokes & other man-child idiot chat, while filtering through the rolling text of GDKP & booster spam while trying to put together your PUG. LFD would destroy that important social experience!

Hot take, I don’t care about LFD, i can live with it or without it, no hate or like neutral emotions, I just didn’t like raid finder.

Not quite the hot take you believe it to be.
Most people playing aren’t here in the forum making noise one way or the other.
It’s like it’s not that important to them.
:woman_shrugging:

If anything the people here are the more hardcore players of the community, and yet even here RDF is an overwhelming majority. It would be far higher in the casual community.

It is for me

What games next?

There are other ways to play wrath

Everything is ruined if you want it to be

Not having to repeatedly post and watch for posts means tou can do other things in-game. It’s not rocket science. You basically invalidated yourself.

RDF wasn’t in Wrath til the end of the expansion anyways.

Some people had a lot of fun for that twelve month period.
Even in the Ruby Sanctum.

Then you don’t actually want to play the game kiddo.

A huge part of the game is socializing. Even if you’re not talking a lot. Manually grouping up and going to the dungeon is a huge part of that social aspect. So it makes perfect sense. You pretending that it doesn’t actually make sense.

You didnt play wrath then, majority of the community didnt use it.

Wonder if Blizz (or anyone else) still has documented statistics on that from the period. I’d be interested in seeing the real numbers.

Me too, Id love those stats.

There is a reason why it was reworked in cata.

Where did you get this then?

being someone who made quite a lot of pug raids and dungeon runs outside of my guild at the time, if the DF was so good, why was it reworked, again for the 4th time in cata.

Ah. Okay. A personal observation.
That’s why it differs from others.
It is not my experience but I’m not trying to speak for the majority since I don’t have the factual data.

My personal experience with dungeon group forming was contacting guildies/friends, then public channels on the server. Prior to the dungeon finder sometimes the group never made it and I found something else to do as I sometimes played during off hours. After the tool was put in that last member or two could be found and we’d complete the dungeon. Even after the RDF was implemented I’d still start with guildies or friends then solicit in public channels on my server first. The tool was supplimental but at times very helpful.
