So what is the issue?
This is a personal view and not supported by facts. I related my experience with and without the tool. Even though I could form groups without the tool, once the tool was in game I could use it if I needed it to assist with locating a player or two to fill out a group. I am not saying that’s how the majority used it but your statement regarding non-usage by the majority is not accurate. It’s simply your perception.
That was my point as well as that people could play Wrath and enjoy having access to RDF.

Your perception which may not be shared. I’m simply asking that you speak for yourself and identify your statements as your opinion not imply they are data-supported facts. I have shown that I do not share your idea of what the RDF meant to people or the frequency of its usage. So I am not part of your majority and Freeuzi apparently was not either. You can’t quantify majority in this case unless you qualify it by saying “the majority of my friends and guild members” or something similar.
Ok my opinion is the tool did not benefit wrath, and wasn’t fully fleshed out until catalysm, further more it’s removal will not impact the playability of Wrath classic.
I can appreciate that.
This time around my play schedule is not so wonky and I will be able to group/raid with my guild consistently so the tool is not a deal breaker for me and the way I will play.
I just want to make sure that those that feel they may have issues even after exhausting the measures that both you and I have discussed such as forming groups/raids with guild members or checking your friends list or asking in public channels on your server or using a discord set up for the servers use etc will have a fallback to look at to get to play the content they wish.

this isn’t even true now. Sure at the release it will be super easy, but good luck once you get to the middle and end. I’m on Pagle and it’s hard to find groups for dungeons (both normal and heroic). Playing as a healer with my tank friend and we can rarely find 3 dps at this point in the game.
honestly, discord is ruining the social part of the game more than LFD ever did (which I’m of the opinion LFD never ruined the “social” scene). it’s taking what should be in the game outside of it. lots of people look for pugging on discord now instead of in game. also guild chat is dead because all the chatting is done on discord now.

- If you don’t like QOL, go play SOM/Vanilla Classic.
- Stop ruining WOTLK Classic for us, old school no-changes chums.
- If you want to use LFG channel, that’s your opinion and choice. Not every one else.
- Dual Spec is very important QOL in WOTLK Classic. Stop ruining it for us.
- You had your “no-changes” in TBC Classic.
- You guys ruined LFG System for majority who wanted em.
- Seriously, dont play WOTLK Classic. You don’t deserve it if you don’t like QOL.

I completely agree that RDF should be added! I won’t play without it!!! I want to be able to log in, press a button and start casting spells in a dungeon! I don’t want to run super far and spam LFG channel for 30-45 minutes! It was in the game before so why will it not be in classic! This is absurd!!!

This! I don’t have time like these other people to sit for 45 minutes spamming to form a group! They are so privileged to have the time to sit around and do this. It is incredibly entitled to say it ruins the “social experience” and this is the only thing they have to say against RDF! Then they launch into some nonsense about a decline in wow which is irrelevant to me because RDF enabled me to play the game immediately and not have to wait! It was in the game before and it should be there now! It is what made wotlk so special to me! I’m so sad they are not including it and I want them to put it back in! If these chairmasters don’t want it in the game THEN DONT USE IT!!!

This comment not only makes you look bad but makes zero sense. group finder makes it easier for you to find your carries (lol) instead of just playing with people at your level.

Losing dungeon finder is not the end of the world. It’s an inconvenience sure, but it’s far from the end of the world. Saying Wrath is ruined, it’s more like you are all Toddlers in Toys R Us. Crying because mom or dad wont buy you the toy you want. Get over it.
Easy answer: stop playing. RFD killed wow and it became silentcraft. Never had to speak to another person again. Never had to quest again. Never had to make a challenge again.
What’s the point to even play this game when there’s Zero challenge involved? You want no effort button smashing join retail again. Why are you even playing classic at all
