It does, considering the current servers are already dying in population and there was a vast number of people who were planning to return and play for WotLK who will not be now if there is no LFD. Like, they could bring the population back up for the dying servers but instead they want to drive potential players away.
They are gonna implement another type of lfg feature but you are not getting last patch wrath LFD
you have no dang evidence that LFD is a make or break feature for people looking to play wrath classic.
Well, the only thing we have to go of off are private servers who have RDF and those who took it out. I have never seen a pserver without RDF survive, those that do are the ones that have RDF from release. Even TBC and classic pservers added it.
I’d love to see blizz make servers with RDF and servers without it. See how each does.
I have seen enough people say it is all over forums and social media that I believe it is, just as it is for me.
Good argument. It was only around for 50% of the expansion. So were the balance and talent changes we should remove those as well!
/s
No it doesn’t. I’ve seen you post in numerous threads and I don’t think you’ve made a single good point.
wrath just gonna be another flop with gold buyers and boosting. dont know why they made such clueless changes.
as opposed to your “good points” which consist of “i want it i want it i want it now now now”
I loved the dungeon finder and actually played during wrath.
Instead of adding QOL that wasn’t in wrath blizzard is making a bigger mistake by removing a QOL feature that was an awesome part of my wrath experience.
Sorry I don’t have time to Sit in trade chat and build a raid group and I’m definitely not committing to a guild just to play wrath when I never had to during the actual expansion.
At least I know I got the best wow has ever had to offer and it will not be returning that way. It’s like my version of the brutosaur
And I love how when Classic first came out and they went with the final 1.12 patch, much to peoples’ dismay, they said it was obviously because “we need to put out the final, most finished, polished, balanced, version of the game”. Where is that logic now, Blizz??
Let me guess, we won’t get the super OP DKs that originally launched with WotLK though, will we?
How could it not be any clearer.
They had 12 million subscriptions at the end of wrath
They don’t have anywhere close to that on retail right now.
They are messing with the best version of wow they ever released for no reason.
It’s like they don’t want customers
I canceled my sub today because blizzard cut LFD out and went with the gold sellers/boosters/gdkp crowd. I let them know that was the only reason too. A month or two into wrath “classic”, the only way through a dungeon will be buying it with gold. Just like vanilla classic and TBC classic are now.
Small pop servers are doomed already. I don’t know why they stick around for the abuse tbh.

maybe if you’re a super casual without a guild…
classic MMOs require a certain level of time investment
if you can’t do that, phone games might be more your thing.
Your reasoning is invalid. I could be doing other activities while my group fills because of the finder.
Now my activity is “filling the group”
Also it makes screening people you group with way more annoying
yet you say you don’t want to join a guild
Correct I don’t want to do raids on a schedule. I have a large friends list in retail. If I get a free night I form a raid with them very simple.
When it comes to 5 mans there is a certain level of screening involved and having to build a whole new network of people that I know don’t suck at the game is going to take a couple months of gaming.
The dungeon finder fixes this. Also if you didn’t play during wrath I don’t value your opinion because you don’t know what made it good.
As soon as the dungeon finder was available people were extremely happy.
LF 1 TANK 1 HEALER H OCULUS - if this is socializing to you, if this is community to you, you need help bro
I think people are confusing Dungeon Finder with LFR. Raids were where I remember the most conversation and interaction happening. Dungeon Finder allowed me to level alts and productively gear my toons pre-raid. I can’t imagine trying to use Tabards now to earn reputation it would take forever. Users will stop doing dungeons as soon as they don’t need them. In Wrath I did my daily dungeon on 4 toons and it was very efficient and easy. I don’t see that as possible in whatever we’re calling this new thing.
There’s your LK playerbase! (Its the same playerbase that’s in retail)
AHAHAHAHAHA…
Quit crying over LFD, it wasn’t in when the Xpac came out and only came out later in a patch. Make groups, talk to people and deal with it.
It was in wrath and should be added, at minimum, when it was added during the original release. Wrath dungeons are very easy/short and there is no reason, especially with badge gear, why LFG should not be implemented. It helps on alts and makes leveling more than just a quest/mob grind.
You get social interactions in the real content - raids/PvP - where you need a guild to progress properly. All removing the LFG system does is prevent people from organically doing the dungeons during leveling and initial gearing which is a shame as it fits perfectly there. Similarly, it will further ingrain the boosting/gold buying culture that has ruined classic so far.
Personally, I will not be playing if it is not implemented in some way.
Even without LFD I’ll be there. After all, cat dps is finally not doo doo, and I look forward to stacking ArP and going full John Madden.

I laffed, said BOOM then shed a single tear.
rip
But that does sound fun.
