WPVP and follower dungeon queue exploits

When is Blizzard planning on implementing a system where you can’t queue for things like follower dungeons while in combat? Exploiters have been using it for ages to escape the griefing that THEY start by jumping in and making themselves impossible to attack.

These exploits need to be covered; you shouldn’t be able to enter queue when in combat. Entering the instance is different - if you’re already queued before combat starts that’s one thing, but allowing players to come in, grief, and then just pop into FD without consequence is absurd.

They fixed the follower dungeon exploit last March.

They did not.

They did though. You can’t queue FD in combat anymore.

They fixed teleporting into follower dungeons mid combat in the Undermine patch, but as always, there are still several ways you can escape combat that will sadly never get fixed due to the sheer volume of ways to escape.

If it’s not follower dungeon, it’s any kind of dungeon or PvP queue. :person_shrugging:

How are they constantly zoning out when they get bounty?

Logging out or taking queues.

You poor, poor naive little shrew.

How is he naive? They disabled the ability to queue follower dungeons in combat ages ago.

If they’re still porting out they took a bg/blitz/skirm queue that they started while ooc.

Or it’s one of those people abusing the sled toy.

Would be nice if these things got fixed.

I’d like to know more about “grief”. Is it just pvp combat or are they doing something to disrupt your game?

There’s also town guards and going into sanctuary areas that get abused.

Using a toy or queue to escape the PvP combat that one started is lame and needs fixing.

The reason it needs fixing is because there’s no counterplay. The attacker can attack without risk of losing, since they can teleport away at will. This creates an imbalance between gankers and counter-gankers (those of us who go around hunting the gankers).

World PvP dies when people can’t actually be killed.

There was a trash talking warrior tonight that was abusing some kind of queue for a while until he got caught out between queues and died.

it is not follower dungeons。follower dumgeons bug really fixed。but cheaters can use the scenarios from the MOP。Such as the greenstore village。

No, they did not. Can do it with any other queue in the game and people also use teleport hacking to get away since everyone assumes its the queue exploit. They simply temporarily moved the exploit.

My issue is with the bounty. If you have a bounty I’m sorry you should lose it if you run into a sanctuary. Not “RES” (I assume this is lol but common to orcish it reads “res”) as you put down a campfire and start cooking. Yes, druid in the ringing deeps I am looking at you. How many days in a row?

I was specifically talking about FD, not any other shenanigans. That was 100 percent fixed.

The bounty system needs to be reworked to be fair. It sucks because if you do get a bounty you can’t actually do anything or go anywhere. You either need to get rid of it or hope someone comes and kills you so you can continue to actually play the game.

There is a player named Itachi/Orichimaru (sp?) both spelled with special characters on the Tich/Hyjal/Proudmoore shards, and he 100% runs away during a fight he will lose, using some kind of get out of combat exploit. I think it’s story mode LFR, but I’m really uncertain what exactly it is because it isn’t just a follower dungeon because he only ganks in Karesh or Undermine. It doesn’t matter if it’s 1v1, or he’s 1v10 at a crate or something, he will fight and maybe kill someone but it’s guaranteed 100% he will run away using this exploit. It’s gotten to a point where other players in the zone recognize the player and band together to actively hunt him down.. It’s honestly so lame. And like a poster said above me, WPVP dies when you cannot die/kill a griefer. I’m all for a 1v1 fight but players who cheat just suck.
