WoW's endgame is too hard

i mean no one gives a crap that you want everything handed to you without even the min effort these days. learn to play or just go play fortnite because MMO is clearly not for you

I hate your post lol, this is the post we have seen since vanilla, crybaby begging for it to be dumbed down but guess what, youll never be happy, ive been here 20 years and im telling you, just quit now, youll always be that crybaby.

Ive said it before & ill say it again.
For the life of me I cannot understand how PvP isnt the lifeblood of WoW! PvP stays exciting as opposed to running the same content over & over again & praying for some rng luck all so you can run the same content just to see bigger numbers. To each their own, i suppose but PvE seems so brain dead beyond doing the first or second run through just to expereince it. I never go further than lfr & i never do M+.
If you find you get wrecked in PvP than just play bg blitz. The skill based matchmaking will eventually get you to playing with players of similar skill which makes it feel more balanced, more fun, & is a great place to get better!

When I get burnt I do something else to break the monotony.
That can mean, working solely on crafting, level pets, farm old raids, play a low level alt or go play something like Diablo!

After a short time I come back and have some fun with wow aga8n.

yeah, almost every player is an adult with a family. That’s just an excuse thrown around to cover up the truth, they are just lazy. And if you truly do not have the time to play the game then just accept that. Why would the developers develop the game for people who don’t have time to play it? Honestly, nothing in this game is hard anymore outside of mythic raid and higher keys and certainly not LFR. You can clear a wing in 20 mins. If you don’t have time for that then just quit already.

Honestly this is exactly what I was thinking of replying. I think the OP just isn’t that happy playing this game anymore, and there’s nothing wrong with that at all. But all of the subjective takes on the game that cite “average players” or the “majority” with no evidence to back it up…god those arguments are just so tired man

The problem with M+ is the punishments of failing, it’s bred an even more toxic cannibalistic community subset which has seeped into heroic and even normal dungeons, it’s bizarre.

Delves are fine in concept but it definitely acts wonky in different situations, its not balanced properly and in some situations is outright buggy.

I think we need to bring back MOP LFR difficulty personally.

PvP has always been the red headed step child, you’ll take your beatings and like it.

Complaining about too much content is just weird.

As a ret pally main, I can tell you that while it is easy to learn, they are hard to master. I can out DPS a lot of pallies with higher ilvl as well as cleansing and BoP/LoH while having the least amount of deaths in M+/raids. I’m only 609 ilvl.

TL;DR Not even the “easy” classes are easy.

Please stop posting these absolutely horrendous takes. You may want to just delete this entire thread before you get flamed harder.

Completed a tier 8 shadowrealm delve on my disc priest. Was the most difficult yet rewarding thing I’ve encountered recently. Idk I really like this expansion

Technically all video game content is optional content.

If the last level in Black Myth Wukong was scaled to be 100 times harder than the rest od the game you could still say its optional.

Its not good game design tho.

Yea.

As far as I could as a kid PVP is what people signed up for.

Like what is even the point in all the loot you get from that final boss? Are you supposed to fight him again but even easier now?

Without PvP this game just woulsnt feel potent.

They need to give me back my Ice Block, but I mainly play fire. They changed the rotation… and change is always going to take some adjustment… but thats the thing, people seem to be in 2 camps where they either like change or dont.

This is an opinion, wrapped up in personal play preference. This is why for everyone someone who loves Super Mario and hates Call of Duty, there is someone who loves call of duty and hates Mario. You love PvP. I love RP. Someone else loves PvE… and so on. PvP and PvE are simply OPTIONS in an RPG… Role Playing Game, where you adventure as a hero. If your adventure is polishing your armor while sitting in the city and queuing for the same old BGs and Arenas, someone else’s adventure is sitting in the same city, polishing similar armor queuing for their Raid or Dungeon instance. The only difference is, PvE gets to see the Lore and PvP gets to see a setting with other players out to beat each other. There is no wrong way to play WoW, and people need to stop acting like their way is the only or better way… cause it’s not. Only 1/3 of the players participate in Mythic+ and barely 1/2 the playerbase does any PvP. People have different tastes as they should. If everyone liked the same thing, and we only got one thing… we’d be pretty boring.

I was a Classic Andy up until this expansion and I will say I was

  1. Pretty surprised by how demanding the game is now (I’m a healer)
  2. Pretty surprised by how many people actually manage the mechanics.

In Classic people have killed these bosses 200 times and lot’s of groups still struggle. So yeah, WoW end game is a lot harder than it used to be but also I’m impressed with the skill level of a lot (not all) of the players in M+ and Heroic Raids.

I think the overall bigger problem is how useless raids are in the grand scheme. You’re doing it for some mathematical improvements, until the gear is discarded in the next big patch. All the preparation and costs simply does not add up in a busy RL.

It’s no wonder that it is the least played endgame content. Imo, the massive focus on raiding is still a mistake and detracts from what WoW should be: An easy and accessible game, without loops and massive difficulty spikes. The classic WoW dungeons and raids were way more fun, because you simply could do it without paying too much attention.

Agreed on all points. Difficulty curve went up and gear progression wall to myth was made much more difficult compared to Dragonflight. Decline of M+ engagement has begun and will result in sub decline. Hope they fix the curve and gear progression before it gets too bad. 20th anniversary event will not save this.

There are different level of difficulties. Just stick to where you fit. Climb up when you are tough enough.

What do you expect from a 20 year old Massive game? Of course, newcomers would be overwhelmed. You are on Internet Age. If you cant get the info you need at this age, it’s a YOU issue. This is an MMO. There’s tons of players here. Why not ask questions to any of its Million players for help?

How many of you know exactly what you need to get done every day and every week to keep up with the pack?

Example: Ok today I need 2 delves and get 3 crests and 4 tokens then I can work on 3 Blitz and if I have time I can work on Evo Quest so I can get 4 blabla awards, then camp 2 rares for… whatever… (just example, made most of that up)

But how did you learn all that? I think many players don’t understand that part, if they want to be good at this game, they need to keep up with what everyone else is doing… or… be casual.

I will never understand why players who identify themselves as average get so worked up about not being able to do Mythic.

Stop trying to remove the challenge other people enjoy just because you cant accept your own limitations.
