I’ve spent a solid hour and a half trying to buy one. I’ve only had one success. I’d be willing to spend more to simply be done with it, but that’s not an option.

There’s also a 60 second cooldown for normal blokes which makes it hard. Maybe put a cap on the bots so the normies can purchase?

So, no would be the answer. To buy a token for gold, it has to be listed on the AH from someone who bought it with cash.

It’s all just silly. I’ll bet they have multiple characters with multiple debuffs atm. Maybe they need to put a max on the amount an account can purchase temporarily or something… this is ridiculous to participate in at this point. But if you don’t you’ll be spending 300K tomorrow once the bots have had their fun.
I had enough to buy one this morning befoee the Brutosaur was announced. Now it’l cost like 100k more gold by the time I’m able to buy one.
Or they could have put the mount ingame for gold but you know.

They were at 209 when I began this process… I only need a few but a looping error and stealth mail backs of my purchase price are all I can accomplish.

Folks are buying tokens left and right I suspect.
You know supply and demand and all that until Blizzard adds in a store item a lot of folks will want.
I’ve been saying this forever, but folks are far more willing to trade in a virtual currency than a real one.
True. It would’ve had the same effect though. Another 5 mil gold mount and you’d still see a similar run on tokens. Technically this one is comparatively cheap atm.

There is a limit of ten tokens purchased with gold in your inventory at a time. You only need 6 to buy the mount.
They should have made the whole anniversary event a cash grab whether you get the rewards with real money or buying tokens in game!

Guess the demand is dumb and the selling isn’t happening. In any event I’ve never been inspired to purchase WoW tokens for anything until now and this experience is really frustrating… however it’s supposed to “work”.
