If D4 fails, it’ll be 3 Diablo fails in a row, arguably. There’s not a lot keeping the original generations of blizzard games players here.

I never said it invalidated them. It just means that despite how highly they hold themselves them leaving is not going to be a huge dent in blizzard’s pockets.
Please “quote” me where I said classic wasnt doing well. I said wrath wasn’t doing well.
if D4 fails what do you think people will say? I personally know a lot of my friends didnt even pre-order it because they are done giving blizzard money base of past experiences. I myself bought the epic pre-order even though I too think as my friends do.

Oh dear classic and wrath! Totally different things! Sorry let me rephrase for you. Wrath isn’t doing well because of the big bad token.

No, it’s a loss of a portion of the fanbase that has been treated poorly by Blizzard. Blizzard often makes changes based on targeting new markets and discarding their old loyal ones. It’s only until private servers saw very large numbers (while theirs struggled in retail), that they acted and rebooted some old game states.

If you can’t tell me which patch Heroic+ came out in when wrath was retail you have no right to be mad about classic+ including wow token.
Sorry I have to respond to your gnome friend. Anyway you are assuming D4 will fail with how well its betas went and the overall positivity around it. What if it does well? You have no way of knowing otherwise. Like I said doom and gloom. Because wrath isn’t doing well you assume the entire company is going to fall over and die.
Those people have been very deliberate in what they wanted and most of them ‘knew’ that blizzard would not cater to everything. The smart ones jumped ship a while ago and went back to private servers.

Wrath players are upset that a token will now ruin their experience that I experienced years ago. You were never going to get your proper experience in this day and age.

Pretty simple bud, blizzard doesn’t care about your feeling, only profits. People are claiming bringing the wow token back is bad and will cause blizzard to fail.
Profit makes the good game, no one works for free. Wow tokens are not gambling loot boxes. Gambling has a chance you get something worth less than the value you paid. The token has a set priced based on the current market, you know what you’re getting when you buy it.

Do you know what happens to business’ that hold onto " very old business" practices? They go bankrupt. These “scams” are called marketing, and they have been working for business’ for ever.
RMT has been going on since classic vanilla, so how will this shape the economy differently than before? It doesn’t matter if its 3rd party sites or blizz selling gold, it inflates the economy.
Back to the point, blizz profits > your feelings. What don’t you understand about this? You can give you bad feedback all day, blizzard does not care because what they are doing is making them more money.
No one is acting as their shield, we are telling you the truth but you simply don’t want to hear it.
Everyone I know thinks 3rd party gold buyers/sellers should be banned. Guess what, they are still here and costing blizz more money than they feel it’s worth to moderate it. This is why the wow token was brought in,
1- most important, blizz makes money.
2- happy accident, 3rd party sites and botting slows down a little bit.
If you don’t want to sub to the game, QUIT.
I personally couldn’t give a damn if Blizzard all of the sudden crashes and never makes another game. It would be their own fault.
But, I hope that somehow, some way we could finally get games that are fun again with devs are actually care and show it.
