Why the FORK would WoW Tokens be soulbound instead of bound to my account?? I just bought a token off the AH and I wanted to send it to one of my lower level toons to use later, so I can have access to it. Now it’s stuck with one of my high level toons that I won’t have access to once my game time expires. =\ How does it even make sense to have a WoW Token soulbound??
If you have the token that you purchased from the AH on any characters on your account, if you run out of game time, you simply use the token from the character select screen.
Timestamp is when they describe how to use a token on an account that doesn’t currently have game time.
I’m betting the issue is that they wanted the token on a second WoW account on the same B.net account.
AFAIK the token applies to the whole Battlenet account. So you can have the token on WoW1 and use it on WoW2.
That has not been my experience. When I click on my wow1 token, it doesn’t open a window asking where to apply - just the standard, “are you sure” prompt.
It would do that if you are logging in to WoW1 or are logged into the game. You would have to log into WoW2 to get the option to use the token on it.
Ah, ok. Been a while since I have let my time run completely out.
Thank you!
This is why I shouldn’t bet.
