WoW token help

Hello, So I’ve recently had a friend send me some gold to meet the required gold needed to buy a wow token, I read somewhere that if it’s in your mailbox it should count towards the total, I see her name, but I am unable to purchase the token unless they didn’t send the correct amount. any help or insight would be helpful. I was advised last time I put a ticket in about something similar that I should post here by a GM

Make sure that you have the actual realm selected of the character with the gold in the mail. You may see your character on the screen, but might still have another realm selected. That’s usually the culprit.

Additionally, it could be that they didn’t send enough gold, or that it might make a character on that server hit zero gold…which I believe still causes the purchase not to show up.

But try manually selecting the server first and see if that helps.

i have 187710 gold on this character and should have 50,000 gold in my mailbox the token is 230k i should have a enough to purchase it. i have chosen the realm mainly because i don’t really play any other realms but have double checked it. ive logged into lower levels in the same realm to make sure im logged in.

Edit: This issue was Resolved, idk what guardian angel helped me but thank you for what you did! <3 i was able to get my token

Probably nothing more than the passage of time, since no one in this thread is even an employee of Blizzard.

“Must’ve been the wind”, I had opened a support ticket and was able to get my issue resolved it just didn’t pop up til after I posted

Alrighty then. That’s a little less mundane than “just wait and it will clear itself”.

But it had nothing to do with this forum thread. The main value of this discussion is just information.

It happens all the time. It’s the “This isn’t working”, but as soon as someone else is looking it starts working just fine.

Just to be clear, even if I wanted to help there isn’t any option for me or any other support agent to make the Token available to purchase for you. Those are all internal systems that operate independently.

In my original post all I asked for was insight I never expected full resolution sept clarity on my situation which you have now provided, I was referred by a GM last time I had a ticket open to post on here. guess with all the hostility I’ll not do that in the future. anyhow my issue was solved through support tickets which I had no prior knowledge it got answered when I made my second post. Sorry if i caused frustration and thank you for patience

I’m not sure where you are reading hostility, Melkinov. O.o We’re happy provide direction if we can and help if we’re able. We often will provide clarifications though because the internet is already full of misinformation so we try to head that off when we can. :slight_smile:

When a Game Master refers someone to the forums it is usually for one of three issues.

  • To Report a Bug in the Bug Report Forum
  • To visit the Tech Support forums for troubleshooting advice
  • To post in one of the Community Forums to provide suggestions or feedback about the game.

It is rarely to post in the CS Forum, even though we’re glad to either redirect someone or provide clarification if they do.

Honestly thank you for responses, we all view things differently I could’ve misread something harmless or hostile but, in the end, I would rather not go down that rabbit hole. so, I rather just move on. lastly thank you again and I hope y’all have a good weekend. you can delete or close this thread if you like.
