Wow that live QA was a big yikes

Hey he answered every question Lore asked :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

What a disaster, honestly. I don’t even have words to express my disappointment and lack of faith in Actiblizzion.

The QA addressed your wall of text pretty directly though. They went this direction intentionally. Ion: “We didn’t think it was the best use of our art team to tell them for the 23rd time to come up with the Priest fantasy.” We just came out of the “class fantasy” expansion, that well has been tapped for a bit.

Also, it’s interesting you mention Emerald Nightmare, since the only difference between that set and Nighthold was color. So even in Legion, the expansion you’re touting, we were beginning to run dry.

It’s not guaranteed that we’ll stay where we are now or go back to class sets, but for now, I agree with the team’s reasoning.

Ahh, but Charlie Brown did get to kick the foot from Lucy!

This about the most stupid thing I read all day. Well done. :1st_place_medal::trophy::1st_place_medal:

Oh, and why is that?

Blizzard - “We are listening to feedback and answering your questions”

Me - Puts Ion and the Q&As on his ignore list “I’ll just read the tldr on some other website.”

I think from now on I will complain about feedback never being addressed when I give feedback.

It’s ok. Everyone has that moment when they’ve heard one too many lies from the devs. The best thing is to move on, take everything they say with a mountain sized grain of salt, and accept that honest answers from them just aren’t going to happen…no matter how low their numbers keep falling.

Also, they post on the forums too (infrequent as it may be)…so your statement included the devs and everyone from actiblizz as well.

: D

Given how actiblizz has covered for wowhead’s mal/adware issues and keeps referring people to there in their tickets, even to this day, it’s no surprise that wowhead would cover for actiblizz. Look at all the exclusives that wowhead gets and everything that comes with that. Any sort of journalistic objectivity or standards gets tossed out the window, and you are expected to kiss the ring, or you lose your access. Look no further than every “professional” critic who gives rave reviews for total flops while the average person’s review score is significantly lower. They have no corporate boss who can fire them, or remove their access to all the cushy afterparties and other perks…so they can leave an honest review.

Take particular note that these interactions are always taking place at arms length.

You’re fools if you believe they address any real criticism of their game this is all just a show to stroke themselves on the slavish idiocy of others. If you want answers take more direction action.

Nothing will be achieved on these horse show of social medias.

On the upside, in future expansions that’ll mean less farming for mog sets that didn’t get completed while it was current content.

Seriously the gear is hideous
you can just tell the old wow dudes are long gone.

funny how warrior has become a vanity class / toon

warrior has become a totally worthless class in BFA and still refuse to address their issues

I thought it was one of the better Q&A actually, I appreciate the more direct answers. I think people are more upset that the answers are not what they wanted them to be.

Did I ask for the 23rd priest fantasy? I dont remember asking for it. I asked for another option especially if the art team is going to be incredibly lazy and have ALL the armor types look close to the same (the cloth uldir set is made out of plate). There is no uniqueness to what anyone is wearing. Literally everyone unless they transmog off of the gear is going to look the same. For 1/3 the raid everyone ALREADY looks the same by force anyway.

“We want the gear to represent where it came from more” is not a very good excuse especially for horde side where it technically makes even less sense for us to be wearing gear based on bwonsamdi who we never fight. The bones stuff can stay. They should have also added some sort of naval themed set or something since we fight A LOT of alliance bosses (5/9) and that would also have been representative of “where we got it”. Like I said. There’s more than enough loot to fit in two sets. The art team is just being lazy and that is incredibly obvious since the cloth and plate variants for both raids now have been almost interchangeable.

3 hours left on my sub. :frowning: I’m gonna keep an eye on the forums and wowhead and hope things change. ME saying this after like 7 years. Crazy.

Yeah… everyone is getting this death set for the battle of DA

Just reskin tier 1 or something for each class. Done. There’s the new set, no work involved besides different colors. Instead they were even lazier than that making everyone look the same.

Worst tank ? check (arguable I guess)
fury/arms replaceable by better like demon hunter in pve or unholy dk in pvp? check.
warrior not top 10 in any pvp or pve spec/combination rip lol.

QA are the same month in month out. We get to hear Ions lovely lawyer speech.

You many not have asked for it, but if they had come up with class-specific designs that were reskins of existing ones or half-assed, the forums would certainly be awash in those complaints.

As for “no uniqueness”, the power to be unique is in your hands. You can mix and match literally hundreds of transmogs in every slot, and BFA’s gearing has given you the power to solo all kinds of content even through Legion. Seems to me that the lazy one is you.

“There’s metal in it” = “it’s made out of plate” now I guess.
