To be honest, they did speak to most of the hot topics right now. The answers are not necessarily what I want to hear, but I guess that doesn’t mean the Q&A itself was bad.

IE. Why do we have to wait for Kul’Tirans and Zandalari? Because the Kul’Tirans took too long to develop, and they sort of have a storyline excuse to justify the wait.

Here’s the thing I won’t pre-purchase next expansion. Fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me. And once the new mmo titles hit , pantheon rise of the fallen and Camelot unchained, two very very strong mmos coming. Doubt I’ll be coming back.

Because during any Q&A now they have been told to NEVER give out dates…NEVER.

It’s just like raiding. People will only log into expansions now when patch’s go live.

When does 8.2 go live…see what I did there. You will never know because people will only log in then.

If no one, not a single customer asked a question Blizzard would make questions up just to have a Q&A to begin with. It’s a no win situation at this point.

I’d say Enhancement functions enough to play and it’s performance is fine, but I wouldn’t call it good design.

Constantly floating between sitting at resource cap with nothing worthwhile to spend it on and sitting at 0 resource with 0 procs with nothing to do but wait and pray.

I know it sits at the former considerably more than the latter, so it doesn’t feel too terrible, but it’s something I would’ve liked to see addressed, even if via a talent option or 2, with any built-in changes coming next expansion.

I was surprised that Ion actually said they weren’t happy with the current design balance in the game and they’ve been talking about various solutions.

It’s an old play:

“This thing, that you’re all so unhappy about…that we’re the cause of? Well, truth be told, WE’RE unhappy about it too! So, we’re totally working on making it right, so bear with us, because we already are hard at work on a ton of solutions to this problem we created!”

The purpose is twofold:

A) To sound non confrontational, yet dismiss/disarm criticism because “wow, they don’t like it either! (hold breath and hope no one notices/remembers they caused the problem to begin with).”

B) To kick the can down the road as long as possible (next release seems to be the goal) “because the ‘right solution(s)’ could take time, and we don’t want to make you or us any more unhappy about this situation than we all already are.”

Sounds confusing? It’s meant to be. Pure doublespeak.

It’s so good, the ministry of truth could have written it. Sadly, it’s why a lawyer is doing the Q&A. The day they get serious about these, you’ll see someone who isn’t trying to out politician a politician for the definition of what “is” is hosting one.

Yah, I understand where you’re coming from. But if I give up all hope that they’ll try to improve things then I should just stop playing now. So I’m trying to be hopeful and give them the benefit of the doubt and take them at their word. For myself I’m willing to wait and see what comes out with 8.2.

Don’t even need class sets. Just more than ONE set per armor type. There are THREE different “sets” of azerite combinations in this raid. They could easily have gotten 2 “sets” per item type. You generally already got that in PAST raids when the off pieces were recolors of other classes’ sets. Would you have gotten some “fashionable” combinations along the way? Sure, I guess, but you already had mixed gear if you didn’t get tier early on and were running half mage tier and half warlock off color or something.

And we are still at less overall variety than previous expansions at this point. Let’s look at cloth right now in Legion. In Legion at this point you had: ALL the class order hall sets (3), ALL the tier 19 sets (3 again), first PvP set (3 more), and finally roughly 2 full completed “off sets”. As a Warlock I could use my own set or I could use the priest set. Across all clothies in raid alone there were 5 looks. That in itself is higher than the 4 presented here where ALL clothies must wear the same gear.

There are NINE bosses this raid tier. If Emerald Nightmare with 7 could fit in entire off colors in their loot then I am pretty sure this raid could have. There are duplicates of almost every single slot. There could have been two themes (especially since Bwonsamdi is only actually present for less than half the raid) or even variations on the themes. The amount of effort into this tier is extremely small since all the armor types besides leather(?) are almost exactly the same. They are all black and white with a bunch of bones and your ENTIRE raid is going to look like that if they don’t transmog off of it. EVERY clothie looks exactly the same. EVERY leather class (all 4 of them) will look exactly the same.

I’m not asking for 4 different sets or whatever. Asking for TWO seems at least somewhat reasonable especially for future expansions. Say I REALLY want the idk…darkshore plate set for some reason. I don’t own a plate wearer right now, but next expansion I main a DK. How am I going to get that transmog? Warfronts are not going to be available next expansion MOST likely so that gear is probably just going to get shelved. Right there in itself cuts my options from this expansion in HALF if I want to get it later. Let alone the fact that the warfront gear (especially the elite ones) are nigh impossible to complete. People have posted on here saying they have been trying to get the Arathi Elite set since launch and have MULTIPLE of characters on the armor type.
