WoW should be F2P if they going to add more and more microtansactions

We talking a certain 400+ item sort of embrace? Because I hear you~

They’re getting there mate, plus WoW has the most expensive character services out of all the MMOs I have played.

And most of the microtransactions in my opinion are too expensive by $10 or more. I mean seriously a race change shouldn’t be more then $10 and a faction change maybe $15. I still can’t figure out how we don’t get a free character service once in awhile from paying a subscription.

It’ll happen. Mark my words.

The only way it won’t is if some lawmaker sees the light and correctly flags it as gambling.

FFXIV says hello.

Use gold to buy game time and it won’t cost you any IRL money, problem solved.

You aren’t forced to buy any virtual items and doing so won’t give you any power benefits in game.

This is just a whiny thread about nothing really.

Getting there?

They could increase the size of their cash shop by x20 and it would still not be 1/2 the stuff i see in other MMO cash shops.

Those games are F2P though. I absolutely love the mental gymnastics you have gone through over the years in your posts to defend this game lol, it is quite entertaining.

No they aren’t.

Is it as entertaining as all the people that make up my position out of thin air, and then argue against something I never said?

And the games that offer a “free to play” option, nickel and dime you for basic game mechanics…while still having an extremely large cash shop for cosmetic items on top of it.

For you to be “free to play” and play at a high level, you will end up spending more money than if you just paid a sub.

The funny thing about the free to play model is that it’s far more profitable than the subscription based one. Which just goes to show just how horrible the free to play model truly is.
