WoW on Game Pass, when?

Oh joy, i sure love me some pixels for one game instead of paying $15 for access to 400+ games plus the game i’m currently enjoying.

I mean, why be playing WoW in one day and play something like Alice: Madness Returns the another, and give Ark Survival Evolved a try another, and see what’s Burnout Revenge, Dead Space, and Fallout 4 is alike when we can just have…

Checks the notes to see what zodiac year is it.

Another Dragon mount and a Dragon mog.

I mean i get it, but… why not have both? (Putting corperate reasons aside, i want to hear opinions from you)

Wow having proper controller support would be my dream, my wrist hurts too much from playing wow.

I completely agree with you on what ought to happen. I just don’t think it will. I think Microsoft Activision Blizzard King Bethesda Mojang will milk the WoW-cow as long as they can.

That’s the only thing i would ask WoW to do. Have full on Controller support.

Consoles just seem a little unnecessary outside the novelity.

Individual gamers will care about different things.

Example, it’s hard enough for any such as myself that get overwhelmed with too many games, or can’t concentrate on a slew of games and find it easier to just concentrate on one.

If the it goes to GP it should be optional to players on wether they want to choose to go GP or just stck with going though BN as we’ve been doing all along.

Unless the person is Mat Piscatella or have any identifiable credentials in what their talking about, i don’t consider them being actually serious or to be creditable. I don’t think they shouldn’t talk on it either if they don’t have the cred for it. This isn’t to mention since all this just ultimately is mask their real opinions behind it. When you’re asked “What do you think about idea”, their asking for your opinion on the thing. As in the enjoyment or not it brings. Not the business side of things.

It would like if you bought up player housing and i go “Oh but the money will sink in will not be a good investment and–” No. I’m a gamer. And i would just say “No i personally don’t want this, because it wouldn’t be exactly what i want”. And my idea of Player Housing is total customization ala Ark or The Sims. Something something player expression.

Just putting it out there, if you care more about the business side of things, i question if gaming is your hobby first and foremost.

If you’re fine ignoring other WoW options like Classic Cata, and SoD, and just focus on one version of WoW, then you would be fine with WoW being on GP since you can do the same thing there as you do here.

I don’t see why this means we can’t have this because one person felt overwhelmed by the choices of games they are allowed access to. I mean it’s kind of hard to justify $15 for one game these days imo, esp when a good chunk of MMO’s are either making that completely optional to the experience, or F2P. Or sometimes, be on GP or any other sub service with other games included.

If anything, GP’s list of games is kind of underwhelming. 400+ is a lot, but it should be a lot more higher and should include more games. Like from R*, Square Enix, Fromsoft, etc. Like 1/4 of what steam got.

Who hurt you?

I never claimed to be the only one when we both know everyone is different.

You dont have to play one game if you dont want to that’s fine.

I’m just fine and dandy playing the way I do and playing what I choose to play.

It’s really not that huge of a deal that you’re making it out to be.

Heaven forbid someone should have an opinion that isn’t like yours.

Pay my account we’ll talk what I play and what I choose not to play.

Some people want that with game pass and others do not.

I preffer to focus on one game over too many and thats just fine just like how you donyou with games.

Never said you did.

It would be one thing to say you get overwhelmed, which i find that hard to believe in 2024, but whatever. But it’s another to assert that in a way that tries to dispute my point which was disputing somebody else saying that they were saying “No, we don’t want this because of think of Blizzard’s revenue stream” instead of thinking for themselves.

If it’s not a huge deal, then you wouldn’t reply that way.

I’m against people lying about their opinions. When they are asked “What do you think about this idea” their asking them if this is something you want. Not what the business wants.

If were talking about a simple disagreement, it would be a shut case here. Person don’t want GP because of their own personal reasons, and that’s that. (Despite the fact $10 for 400+ games is an amazing deal in gaming)

With them bringing up the business aspects when nobody asked, it’s only disingenuous.

Nice Red herring. Nobody talked about controlling your account 'cept for you. And bringing that up whenever said so, is telling about you tbh.

And?

WoW should be on GP, regardless if they like it or not. If they dislike it, they can just ignore the other games on there and just play it just like regular WoW. That’s my point here.

I mean half y’all acting like GP stops you from doing that. Never mind half y’all acting like GP also stops you from buying the game when there’s a buy option from the word go.

All for WoW on Gamepass. Talk about a resurgence of players. Do it Blizz.

Tbh, I find it highly unlikely to happen as:

  1. The business model for WoW would have to change
  2. The game itself generates a huge amount of revenue from subs alone

That isn’t to say that I’m against the idea. I mean, potentially having the sub fee lowered to $10 or being able to play for free (depending on how they change the monetization model for the game) would be great. However, I wouldn’t get my hopes up.

What happens if you have many accounts? Do you need many game pass accounts then?

What rock have you been living under bro?
