I doubt that it will be on the Xbox One and the Playstation 4, however, there are new consoles coming out this year, the PS5 and the Xbox Series X. WoW is more likely to be on the next consoles.
I guess technically a 0.0000001% chance is more likely than a 0.0000000% chance.
I still dont see any reason to think its happening.
Me neither, which I’m fine with. WoW is made with one system in mind: A computer. It really wouldn’t make sense for console versions, but controller support is an idea I can get behind.

I mean… next gen consoles are going to be more powerful than most peoples computers.
Basically at this point it’s only Blizzards want that’s holding it back. They don’t want console, which is ok. (oh and licensing crap, hell, microsoft and sony may not want it on the consoles, FF is only on PS thanks to a strong relationship between SE and Sony)
So far, the closest thing to WoW on consoles is avatars on the Xbox consoles, so who knows at this point?
well square has a long history of console gaming anyway and besides itd be in Blizzards best interest to try and branch out more into consoles because Sony is a much larger company than even them and activision combined as any one knows Sonys game console is merely a small percentage of their market since they got all those movie and TV studios as well as all the major electronics
not bad for a company that rose to fame from simply creating a radio/tape player people could wear on their belt
Well, I’d love to see blizzard approach Sony and be like “we want to put wow on console and we want to use OUR servers!” And see how that goes lol
Consoles are for children. 
They stated they’re going to try enabling the Xbox adaptive style controller to make WoW more accessible. I wouldn’t take that to mean it’s coming to a console near you.

I’m imagining wow on the switch and I couldn’t imagine a worse platform to manage so many buttons.
it would have to be an extremely watered down wow clone kinda like everquest online adventures which makes it an entirely separate game. none of this seems even remotely doable with modern wow.
I predict this thread will eventually just turn into a wow vs FF discussion.
I hope that they would put it on PS4 at the very least. Like FFXIV. My boyfriend only can play on consoles because he doesn’t have a strong enough PC.
It would be awesome to play this with him too.
I called this long time ago. I said everything the devs are doing is to prepare the game for console. If it happens then I guess I was right… AGAIN
Xbox One and PS4 are soon to be obsolete. PS5 releases this year. Not seeing why they would announce that.
