I have run into a major bug that is not letting me play my toon and there seems to be NO way of contacting customer support that is supposedly “24/7”. It even says live chat 7am-1pm PST. It is currently almost 10AM PST and there is no live chat available. The support options keep running me in circles and making it nearly impossible to just put in a ticket. Blizzard is running like a major crap hole with its game having so many bugs and the worst customer interface possible. What happened to being able to make a ticket with one click and immediately getting a GM to contact you in game for support. This company is just ridiculous and ran so poorly now.

Usually if you can’t find a means to put in a ticket, it might not be something gm staff might not be able to help with, or a suggestion on which support option might be able to work.
To help triage the issue. Many times players would post a ticket with just the words fix it with no elaboration on the issue.
My character leveled up to 61 while I don’t have DF expansion and now its locked me out of playing it. I know there is DF trial going on and it specifically says I should not be able to level up.
Live chat has a limited capacity, so during the hours when it is normally open, if it reaches that capacity it may temporarily close until the queue goes down. It is also limited only to certain issues.
The thousands of support tickets with little to no information in them, that often contained the words “Help” or “contact me”, having to constantly ask for more information among other reasons, convinced us we needed a better way.
Now we have a system that helps categorize the ticket and tries to gather the relevant information so our staff can better assist.

So you never had Dragonflight, except from the current trial? Is that correct?
Correct, I have never purchased Dragonflight.
That is weird, it is not supposed to do that.
I don’t think I’ve seen any other similar reports, but I"m going to send this one up. Keep your ticket open, just in case we need to do something there.
This is newish, saw another post about it, hopefully bug reports were put in.
Just as a follow up, it does look like we are aware of this happening to some folk. I don’t have any information at the moment, but it is being looked into.
It looks like we have developed some policies to help address this, but you’ll need to get in contact with us. You already have a ticket open, but it’s under a Generic category, so I’d recommend submitting one under “Purchase Failure”.
Any update? Its been about a week now and I still can’t play my character. I made a ticket and was mainly just told to wait for the developers to fix it. Will I even be notified when this issue is finally fixed? What are the policies made that are suppose to help address this issue?
Sorry, Assarina. We had hoped to have a resolution that fixed up folks in your position automatically. Unfortunately, that doesn’t seem like it was possible for all users.
