Is there no QA process? Are they skipping general change management. Should the #1 goal be to not cause business impact? This is the definition of a critical business impact.
We aren’t even getting an official announcement; we have to instead go dig in the support forums for some half acknowledgment. Why is this not being announced in the blizzard app or in the WOW in game notices?
This is just a calamity of errors. It is shocking to see this is where blizzard is all of these years later. So much for best practices.
Same here. All of my expansions are gone from my account an from my launcher. I have purchased them all and just played War Within last night. Now…everything is gone but the basic game.
Adding in that I can’t select my account from the drop-down menu in the battle.net app. Furthermore, the workaround that was given (log in via the WoW client directly) does not work. I’m still just sent into a free trial account.
You can login manually if you start up the wow.exe and go to your battlenet app on your phone and hit the avatar in the top left - then authenticator, and enter the code manually.
