i can;t log on to my account. My license disappeared and its asking me to subscribe to wow, even tho im already subscribed. I can’t access the license the character im posting this message on. MoP Classic is working but retail disappeared.

Was logged in this morning and now i only have an eu and a starter account listed. My account isnt listed. If i go to accounts i definitely see my account and the sub running through march 2026. Funnily enough, it offers to buy WoW, but it has the checkmark acknowledging it’s already in my collection.
Edit: My login options are
51782712#1 (US) - Starter Edition (and if I log in, definitely not my account)
WoW1 (EU) - Starter Edition
My actual account has a very different name which reflects if I go to my Battle.net Account page.
Already tried:
- Restarting my desktop
- Logging out of Battlenet and logging back in
- Scan and repair, logged out and back i - no change
Would like to avoid doing a full reinstall
edit2: Confirmed that my Classic account showed the right account name on the drop down, but it wanted an update, checking now.

Same thing is happening to me. I don’t have the ability to select my main WoW account for retail. It defaults to a trial account and there is no option to switch. The weird thing is, if I switch the game version to MoP classic, both are there.

Logged in and my main account is gone from the launcher. I had played earlier so this is recent. Bypassed the launcher by loading wow.exe and my account is there but once logged in I only see a single inactive character I deleted years ago. I see my characters in my account and item restoration as well as logging in to reply here. So something with the game is completely broken.

Yep its a thing, I just tried to log into WoW and I dont see my main account but when I log into my account its there with a sub active the only time I see my main account is when I go to WoW classic my main account does not show on retail at all.
Same problem here. Early this morning was normal, I logged for a few hours, now I am back and my main acc is gone. I have two wow acc’s, usually appeared wow1 (my main and the one I have game time) and wow2 with an inactive sub. However, when I tried to log in my main was gone, and only shows my inactive acc, ptr realms, and classic/mop classic. My main acc totally gone. However, I log in by going to the file with the WoW launcher and my account was showed there. Is only in the battleNet app where doesn’t shows.
I cant even log into it with the exe because it says to enter the generated code which I never get lol. and yes only the inactive ones show…
Same problem here. I did find a workaround. If you go to your main Program Files → WoW Retail folder and execute WOW.exe, you can then login with your user, PW, and MANUAL (not the auto token request) authenticator code from the mobile app to login to your retail account OK. This seems to be more of an issue with the BNET launcher than with WOW.

Same, I can’t even log into my main account on Retail but classic it’s just fine. I did have an update earlier today but was able to log in just fine after. It wasn’t until I logged off for a bit from the game I started to have this issue.
I tried that earlier and was able to see my main account and login but it only had an old deleted character. Tried that again just barely and all my accounts are gone except for one. So it appears even the manual attempt is now broken
I stand corrected, then 
I was able to log in to my main and one of my alts back and forth a bit after doing the workaround, though if I exit the game I’m back at square one. Hopefully this means the accounts and characters are OK long-term and it’s just a system sync / login issue.

Try manually generating an auth code on your app and entering that?

Hey,
My WoW1 is missing from the Battle.net launcher completely. It was there earlier today, but when I logged in tonight it was just gone. WoW2 is still showing fine, but WoW1 has disappeared.
When I check my account page /games
), I can still see WoW1 there and the sub is active, so I’m not sure what’s going on.
Anyone else run into this before?
