Valheim is made by only five people, and exponentially more fun than WoW, by MAGNITUDES.
It’s like a combination of classic WoW, Skyrim, and Minecraft. In the best possible ways.
You’ve got housing, combat and fun bosses, rewarding crafting, and a beautiful world that is always different from everyone else’s because it’s randomly generated.

WoW triple dips and isn’t worth $5 IMO. As a free to play game it would probably do much better.
Anyway I’m out, moving on to greener pastures. This one is brown with Kotick’s elephant poop.

Thing is Valheim and WoW are two totally different kinds of games. It would be like going onto the FF14 forums or posting here “HEY GUYS YOU HEAR ABOUT MINECRAFT?!”

Valheim was fun as HECK. Man I was addicted HARD to it! Like I haven’t felt since first playing wow in 2010!!!
Then me and my friends “beat it” after 2 weeks of obsessive grind and guess what we haven’t played since.
Back to wow.
Because wow / blizzard does something almost no other gaming company has ever been able to do. And I can promise you, OP, in a month from now you will be done with valheim and have spent a LOT more game time on wow than in valheim.

Everyone is immediately going to get defensive, but it is the truth that Blizzard should be looking at Valheim and taking notes. Actual content that people want to play without being timegated or strung along.

Alright. I’ll be real. My girlfriend and I have been playing the hell out of Valheim and haven’t queued or done anything in WoW in about a week because we’ve been having a lot of fun with it.
That said, it’s a different game aimed at different things. Don’t get me wrong, Valheim is great fun. I absolutely love to build in that game. It’s fun for me. I’ve become “the carpenter” among our group of friends because they go out and hunt / bring me back wood and such, and I turn it into big fortresses. Which is fun.
But it’s still a different game. I don’t think bringing that up here on the WoW forums is a good idea or necessary.
