Riot’s mmo is the only thing on the horizon that has my interest. I am pretty sure the mmo genre as a whole is dead at this point.

Riot’s lore, characters, and map are incredible… their balancing is terrifyingly bad and I am scared how off the classes will be in their mmo.

The amount of Copium in this thread is quite astounding from boomer WoW addicts. OP, Riot MMO will definetely put a major blow in WoW, if not kill it entirely. Just wait brother, Riot has several billion dollars at their disposable and are backed by Tencent ( who run most of China unironically). League of Legends is still #1 most played game in the WORLD after many, many years.

Riot’s MMO has the best chance on paper to do what no other MMO could. But that’s not today.
Also, Riot’s MMO will be released way earlier than scheduled. Usually, they release games fast as (valorant). So, we should be waiting a year or less, with the amount of resources they have at their disposable. IIRC, they stopped hiring for key roles in the development of the game
Lock it behind a sub fee instead of it being F2P and it would have died long ago.
