Wow I think this is finally it for me, the final straw. I got robbed by blizzard

Sorry OP. That stinks.

As a fellow Canadian, I understand your frustration of occassionally running into these types of situations.

And to make matters worse Canada Post is striking again (they always do this before the holidays the buttheads), so if you have to wait for the package to arrive before returning it, you might miss a deadline there too.

Maybe it’s just me, but anything over 50 dollars especially in a game…I’m reading everything

The cash shop should reflect your region imo

:crab: :ocean: :crab: :ocean:

This should be an easy “return” for Blizzard Gear customer service. If they don’t do it, you already know the answer.

The system should have booted him out with an error message instead of taking his money and saying, “We’ll take your money, give you nothing in return, and blame you. And we’ll do it again.” The guy deserves a refund. He may even have some sort of consumer protection in his country.

I’m so sorry this happened to you Blackdamian, its all kinds off wrong for them to treat customers like this. I am also leaving the game after 18 years because of managements actions, and very very poor customer service. It’s a shame that MS has ruined what use to be a lovely pastime. Wish you all the best :slightly_smiling_face:

Yeah, they should strike when it has no impact. Take your issues up with the CEO, who just doubled his multimillion$ salary. Class traitors abound,

Just another internet old wives tale. :smirk:

They do not care about our time and they do not respect us as human beings. They have your money and that’s all that matters to them.

The entire game is designed to take as long as possible without ever giving you what you paid for. There is no excuse for what happened to you and there is no excuse for why it has been two months of solid grinding delves, mythics and raids without a single new piece of gear dropping anywhere. It is GAMBLING and you’re paying with your time and money. I’ve also cancelled my sub.

How anyone could defend these manipulative practices is beyond my understanding.

They did buy a Baseball cap too…

Oh yeah that explains everything. A pure gold baseball cap fo sho

This only for people in the USA is seriously NOT a reasonable limitation considering the game is world wide. That is literally discrimination.
We are all playing the same game and all Store items, in game rewards and content should be available equally to everyone.
This is as bad as the RNG Blizzard Casino nonsense. Your trying to play a game and the target is swinging violently around. This is not a game of skill and who knows maybe the game is EASIER if you live in the USA.

Your blaming the wrong people now…its their Govt that does this too them not Blizzard…Blizzard has to set things up with knowing all the rules and regs of each country their products go too…same goes for the Motorcycle from Mt Dew/Pepsico…its their own country doing it too them…

Look up TILA laws and CA state law. Generally you’d have 3 days to cancel the order, regardless of circumstances. It’s beyond horrible business practice to not allow a customer to cancel. Nearly all bigboxes when sending merchandise allow the right to cancel and return for any reason whatsoever. Disclaimer: Feels like something is missing here tho.

Don’t listen to the local troll sharks :stuck_out_tongue:. They smell fresh chum in the water .

I lived in Alaska for 7 years… I concur.

Alaska has some beautiful countryside man.

Look up Southwest Colorado. Durango/Silverton area. Lived there (and will hopefully go back eventually) for most of my years.

I done seen’t my harsh winters but I would probably love at least a year in Alaska given my penchant for the outdoors.

Alaska is also still America. Canada is decidedly not.

A postal strike always has impact. They don’t need to ruin everyone’s Christmas to stick it to the CEO. :upside_down_face:

Well, you can blame Canada:

They are the ones who built out a digital tariff on the US.

In closing, the letter noted: “[we] want the strong economic relationship between the United States and Canada to continue growing. That will become immensely challenging, however, if Canada subjects innovative American companies to arbitrary discrimination without facing any consequences.”[5]

Blizz wants you to have it. Canada does not.

I mean, you answer it yourself. It is neither at the bottom nor in fine print. I went and looked at it in the store and the product description section was VISIBLE by default, so you can’t even claim it was hidden that way. As for in BOLD LETTERS, it clearly states not only is it for US customer only but also that you must have a valid US billing address. About the only thing I would say they could do with a store is flag the purchase for your review if the billing address saved to your account is not in the US so you could have a chance to read it a second time.

Frankly, this is a matter of personal accountability. You’re not going to get any sympathy (and this is coming from a fellow Canadian). If it was something where you wanted the plushie that badly and have an American friend, you could have arranged to ship it to them to then get sent to you. But besides that, you just have to accept the fact that not everything can be easily done internationally and suck it up.

I’m sure you aren’t the only one who has this happen and Blizzard would likely give you a refund without fuss. Next time make sure you read everything before you buy something.

Our current Prime Minister is such a weenie. Even his own party has turned on him. But we are stuck with him to the next election. :upside_down_face:
