Problem is its not against the law to push the lines of marketing to the point of where its obviously misrepresented.
The law allows this, and that should give you an idea about how certain “laws” are just rigged for businesses rather than buyers.
The one that makes me crack up is when theres a radio ad and the disclaimer is somebody speaking so quick its gibberish.
Basically buyer beware in whatever you buy these days…
While I sympathize at the annoyance of not getting something outside of the US, you lost me when you mentioned dumping the Funko Pop into the trash, lol.
I’m getting that for the pop more than the digital item, haha.
Anyway, sorry for your troubles.

This 10000%. If more people did chargebacks then companies would be a little more hesitant to hide all these hidden messages in 4 point font. Call the bank and explain, either you get money back OR the worst case scenario is the bank just says no.
Exactly. Also,
The pricing on the pets are predatory as well as the plushies. They make them that high because they suck and everyone knows it so may as well rob a few gullible fools while you can.

Yeah the profit margins are insane with what they’re charging, very predatory. If blizzard wants us to defend their practices on the forums they gotta earn it, they deserve to be put on blast by people like OP who got screwed and are rightfully complaining. Use whatever tools you have OP, the sub price is petty fair though.

People buy them at that price. Thats why they set it there. It’s sharing a market with bad consumers which makes it harder to hold companies accountable.

We all know demand will dictate the market but that doesn’t change the fact of what he was saying of it being predatory. Blizzard knows people like OP love this Ip and this game as a hobby and they’re obviously trying to milk that more than others would. Just because they can doesnt make it right.

You certainly are just in asking for a refund. Go through the process and if they don’t give you a refund, then yeah. Just find greener pastures.
Some folks just have money laying around. Leave us alone!

Are you consuming product, or is the product consuming you?
Don’t ask questions, just get excited about next products.
So just to summarize:
You spent $140 on in-game pets
When you didn’t get the pets you wrote an essay to GD
We are expected to believe this was it for you?
Right.
Offer products to people who want them.
Have limits based on geography or borders
Very predatory.
I mean …
I just decided to go to the Blizz Gear store.
Google.
Filter to Plush
Oh wait, hold on, there is it right on the front page clicks shop now
Oooh, says it comes with an in-game pet.
Then, it says See terms and conditions for details.. As an adult, I always read those, especially when it involves money. It took less than 30 seconds to see what some of the exclusions were.
I then spent the better part of 5 minutes looking at that little pet and debating!

Why did you feel the need to really get your money’s worth out of the shipping fee for items that you intended to toss into the trash?
I mean you’ll still get some satisfaction. You made Blizzard ship that stuff all the way to the land of the heathens only for you to throw them out. That’ll teach them.
