A lot of people don’t want to do non queueable content the content you call trivial…we still want it to be FUN.
yes yes yes 100%
Pet battles are the only reason I’m still playing. Literally.
I don’t care about mounts, transmog, BiS gear, achievements, etc. I just want to have all the pets.
I love this game so much. Sorry if this opinion angers anyone.
You’ve absolutely ruined my morning. I won’t be able to enjoy breakfast. The coffee will be particularly awful.
I hope you’re happy.
Ill take, things thatll never happen for 200!
Removing addons or DPS meters, etc will not stop those who want to race through a dungeon or pull mobs to mow them down.
The main motivation is getting through the dungeon as fast as possible, not how I can be “leet” in the meters.
More player’s faster ques when it comes to leveling in dungeons, don’t take dps charts serious in low level dungeons its just going stress you out, just disable your dps meter if it gets to you that much. As dps players pulling ahead of tanks this is story of time in any mmorpg that has tanks it just happens it’s very annoying.
Sounds like you need stop playing in low level sandbox and do competitive dungeon difficulty M+. It’s more likely players will play follow the leader (the tank) and not pull entire dungeon ahead of you. Dps meter will be important though but so will be interrupts and following mechanics. If all else fails and your still discourage then Delves will be your next form of content for PvE content.
Stop focusing on dps charts and it could be more fun? You probably play the game to top dps charts, so maybe should unistall, if that is all you focus on.
…so don’t run TWing?
No? You have never had to control DPS damage. You need to monitor your threat. Something that isn’t even difficult when they outgear you and do a bonkers load.
Killing the DPS meter wouldn’t help the issue you say, it would just make knowing if a char is going to pull aggro harder to identify, which seems again like an issue to you.
You…make no sense and went all over the place here. You went from complaining about scaling, to complaining about DPS meters, to complaining DPS pull groups, to now complaining they don’t need tanks? Have you just thought about the fact you are unhappy with the game, and should take a vacation from it? Go play another game or two. Focus on enjoying those and you will want to play again, or wont. Being this is the preseason, I haven’t really opened WoW besides to do the quests for undermine, and that is about it. Rest of the time? Minecraft, Disgaea, 7 days to die, metaphor, etc. Whatever I feel like at the time. Try that. Go enjoy something else. When you treat this as a job, you will resent it like a job. This is very evident based on the fact you meandered around in your complaint.
Tell me you’re woke without telling me you’re woke.
Bro, The game was already dying, then they went all in on the woke devs, it got even worse.
I just want them to get back to hiring based on skill, and people who have a passion for gaming.
Specifically. Who did they hire that does not have skill or passion?
I assume you have these details to much such claims.
Just like any long term relationship, WoW players will go through this with their beloved game. Every single person I know who has played for 10+ years has had at least one moment of, “this game doesn’t have the same shine anymore.” It’s bound to happen to everyone who has spent a significant amount of time in this virtual world.
…And that’s okay. Take your break, however long, and don’t return until it excites you. That is the only way preserve your love for it.
Removing the add-ons wouldn’t solve the problem you’re running into.
The problem is that by mixing the low levels in the way they have they turned the normal dungeon queue into the leveling up queue.
You need to get out of that queue, it’s a barely functional mess.
I know it was probably your old go-to for years and years but it’s garbage now.
The heroic queue isn’t much better and the time walking queue is probably the worst of them all.
I think things would improve if they stopped with the minor patches.
They could have events if they feel the need to fill in gaps, but they really should focus on the major patches and keep the main story beats to them instead of the slop they use to pad out the .2 and .7 patches.
I have to agree about the unfun part. Addons are not the problem though. I just don’t feel like I can enjoy playing anymore.
Not really i think the biggest problem is rewards, theres too many rewards that are being thrown at players that getting rewards is not rewarding anymore
