Was really funny, what’d they expect to happen on a pvp server that was publicized? Should’ve done it in SW park or something.
Actually, she is in for a surprise… mwahhh
You don’t advertise something like this in a contested zone on a pvp server. And if you do, you make sure you have a couple guilds who are attending JUST to play guard duty.
Making these things into big events and expecting them to not be crashed is poor planning, completely within the scope of pvp rules, and honestly, I’d expect nothing less.

Like, 15 years of slowpoke.jpg
That’s a fine-aged Slowpoke I tell you hwat.
it’s either a genuine wedding where they hope they’ll get attacked for the fun of it, or an elaborate ruse to lay out the wedding as bait to attack whoever shows up for it. either way, it should be a glorious fustercluck of a fight and i wish i had a toon on that server
So something older that suddenly became a popular topic again? I mean… we haven’t had PvP realms for a while now. Seems odd to me for it to come up in conversation again. ![]()
Whereas I wouldn’t personally condone the actions… it was a PvP realm.
I’m sorry. I’m sure some of those people who found out later what they did were upset or felt guilty. Hopefully the Horde side understood their decision to hold it on a PvP realm and publicize it.
ahhhh this was an epic troll. the best was the “Women Shouldn’t Vote productions presents…”
Scummy if you asked me,while I get it was a PVP server, any decent player/human being can understand the meaning of the word boundaries and to respect them. People who go out of their way to disrupt events such as this regardless of servers are douchebags no ifs, ands or butts. There’s various other ways to find entertainment or relieve boredom,it’s in poor taste to go and disrupt something such as a fallen friend’s funeral or an online in game wedding between two people who love eachother IRL [was commonplace to have weddings in everquest and are way less expensive than over the top receptions]
I’ll never understand why people think it’s funny to act like obnoxious pricks and mess with people who normally just wanna be left the hells alone. So to reiterate,I felt the video to be scummy [and apparently to most morals are dead]
I don’t think it suddenly became popular either. I just think the OP made a topic about it out of the blue.
My problem with it (Not really the video. But the aftermath) was it got
out of hand and went too far. The attackers did absolutely nothing
wrong, nor against any game policy. The players at the funeral however,
were the people that took it too far.
After it had happened. The attackers received all kinds of threats
on different forms of social media. From the funeral people that
set the whole thing up. These people were telling the attackers
that they hope their families die in a house fire. That they hope
their parents get cancer and die. All kinds of things in that
nature. The “funeral guild” took it way beyond a game.
If this didnt happen I wouldnt know she exsited… so in memoriam may she rest in peace
she loved fishing, and snow… and PVP
As much as I got the sediment and thought it was a nice gesture, I also shook my head at the thought that any of these people thought it would work out in any way because trolls are gonna troll.
It was a trainwreck waiting to happen. I wasn’t surprised in the slightest.
…and as someone posted above (if true) they ended up being no better than those that coordinated the event. So who cares.
I thought it was funny and would have liked to take part in something like that.
That’s not dark. That’s abnormal.
I disagree. These people got together in game to pay respects to someone who died in real life. Only to have their funeral interrupted by some extremely rude and pathetic people. It would be exactly the same thing as going to a funeral in a real life setting and causing chaos. It wasn’t some RP for some character who died in game. It was for a friend these people lost in real life. I have no respect for people like those who trashed the funeral.
i was more wondering how come none of them were timbermaw friendly.
prior to flight in azeroth, my alts usually had to corpse run to winterspring
I’m not trying to be a jerk but when tha scatman started playing, I was a jerk. I laughed so loud…ugh. I’m ashamed.
Editing to add: If I ever die and someone does this, I expect these shenanigans to happen or I will be upset. Epic. Fayejin is still being remembered after all this time and wouldn’t be otherwise.
I’m surprised people are still talking about this video, it happened so long ago.
