He is trying to convince his own echo chamber to follow him to NW. The developers don’t read these forums so he is basically talking in a echo chamber.
OP the developers doesn’t read General discussions. They are over at Reddit or Twitter. You want your voice heard go over there where the developers are. They clearly are not here. They never were here since Ghostcrawler left.

The auto run simulator, one of the first keybinds that talk about in the tutorial, really isn’t that good.
It’s pvp has the same problem that most faction based games has, only made worseby having three factions like dark age and Warhammer before it, the forts/pvp areas will be dominated by the faction. Since that’s pretty much all it has aside from chores/grinding for pve, it’s likely going to share the same fate as Warhammer.
PvP based and factions, how stupid can you be!

I mean I am playing it, I logged in right now got on early to avoid Ques. I said I logged in 80 hrs so far this week. Now eating lunch and looked at the current numbers and thought that WoW dropping back to #3 most popular MMO is a good discussion. Obviously there needs to be changes to WoW and maybe some changes players have been asking for years will happen when WoW sees the success other MMOs are having with them.
It’s really an odd time when people see being #3 in the entire world as a bad thing.
Though I don’t really believe these statistics.
I read wow is #3 but new world is neither 1 or 2, classic RS (#2) and FF (#1) are apparently better.
Of course it is, its a sinking ship. It will never be #1 again.
The developers are not on these forums. They don’t read these forums. You can make 1000 threads on WoW sucks not one developer will see a single one.
Try Twitter or Reddit or Facebook. Where the developers are. Cause they ain’t here man. These forums are a echo chamber your voice isn’t getting heard.

That’s a lot of hours, even i don’t dedicate that much to WoW in all my time playing from 2012 to now.

Also, why people keep on comparing video games to relationships? I mean they aren’t spouses or anything… their just games. I don’t have a romantic relationship with my computer games, i just play them…

He’s trying to hype games up without any real substance. I don’t even know what can you do in the game besides just Crafting, Killing, and getting into PvP.

Everything I’ve read about the NW launch is really not good.
Huh? New world is filled with chores as well gathering , skinning , mining and repeatable turn in faction quests are all chores and the shine will dissipate over time .Crafting will be optimized by gamers and anything new would be lost.
Again do not judge the success or failure of an mmo in the early days . Wait and give it more time just like classic.
To his very mild credit, at least what he said is true…
…But i don’t think he understands that with the 2K (or 2.25K, either way, still very low) server cap, it’s not going to change much. That’s like trying to get water out of your cruise ship with more then 1 drinking cup.
Amazon should’ve seen this coming. There was simply no excuse for that server cap if you ask me. Should’ve been high to begin with.
