Naaah, that’s dumb. Outside of the straight up illegal, there are no “wrong” games to like. If someone can find joy in even an objectively poorly made/bad game, then that’s great for them. No one should have an issue with them enjoying it.

Does he mean “almost no work is being done on World of Warcraft right now” as in, “official orders from on high to halt all planning, production, etc” ? Or does he mean as in “WoW’s workforce is so gobsmacked they’re unable to concentrate”?

What were you apprenticing for?
My biggest concern is I don’t think this game will survive on a 8+ month patch again… we can’t keep continuing to have these massive droughts and expect the player base to be fine with it.
Regardless people’s opinions, guilds and servers are already losing players, while more “popular” servers might not feel it as much, medium to low pop are becoming ghost towns.

Get your Cdl and apply to an apprenticeship with the Ibew, if you live in New England, it’s neat1968.org.
It’s a 3-5 year apprenticeship, but as a journeyman lineman you’ll make 55/hr (strait time. Anything past 8 hrs is time and a half, and if it rains or you are called in for storm it’s double time.) With all the benefits that you can imagine. Most companies pay per diem, usually 50-100/day for distribution and 100-150/ day for transmission. Look into it. The apprenticeship is hell, and the work is dangerous, but it’s worth it.
Yeah I never really played WoW in earnest here on the US side.
My actual account is on the EU, but it is not as fun teasing other european, as it is poking fun of Americans.
