WoW Development Stalled

FWIW there’s probably some work done on 9.2 pre-lawsuit and some very basic work done for 9.3. Now how MUCH we get from those patches and how long they take is an entirely different matter.

Wish I was Horde so I could gank every human paladin I see.

I like to believe evidence and a court ruling. you know, because people lie about this kind of stuff ALL THE TIME. Otherwise, it’s none of my business.

WM is off. you have no power here.

I miss my N’lyeth, it let me butcher both human paladins and trashgnomes.
Now I have to coexist with those walking cosmic mistakes.

Because this isn’t a case of ‘he said, she said’.

The state of California already has enough evidence to prove these things happened after a 2 year investigation, and much of this has been backed up by Blizzard’s own employees, not just the victims, but those who saw what happened to the victims.

If they didn’t have enough concrete evidence, they wouldn’t be pursuing this into court. Most people looking at this case can recognize that difference compared to other allegations that have targetted a single person, like, for example, the allegations that dogged Swifty. There was no investigation into those allegations. They were made by someone speaking out. They were denounced as untrue by Swifty and a few others, and that’s as far as it has gone.

This is different. The investigation has already been concluded, they’ve got enough to make their case and win it (otherwise again they wouldn’t be pursuing it) so now they just need to present all that evidence to a judge.

then leave the state of California to do justice. what business do you have in this?

Guilty until proven innocent.

For the same reasons that people wanting to defend Blizzard aren’t waiting for the verdict.

It’s a lot easier for people to pick sides, get pissed, and “take action”.

Even despite how I feel about this, I’m still willing to wait for the actual verdict, whether or not I believe I have an understanding of what happened.

Okay first, step back and tone it down a notch. Being hostile to anyone who explains something to you isn’t going to get you far.

My ‘business’ in this, is that as a consumer of the entertainment that Blizzard provides, I want to be able to continue doing that without feeling like I’m promoting a company with an extremely toxic and frankly, dangerous working environment. My ‘business’ is that as a human being with what most would call ‘decency’ I want to see those who were involved in this thrown out on their rear, and I want some, like Alex Afrasiabi, to face criminal charges for their conduct.

And I have the freedom to voice my opinion here until Blizzard tells me I can’t, so sit the hell down and don’t try to tell me what my business is.

here’s some things you have to know

  1. State departments are not absolute. They have due dates that have to be met and objectives that must be done before it reaches. Otherwise the whole thing can be thrown out. Sometimes some key evidence is overlooked, exaggerated or even omitted. It’s either better to have some evidence on a due date than have the whole case thrown out due to a missed date. That means they may have to submit anything that’s viable as evidence.

I’m going to wait for evidence and justice to happen but here’s what I got.

  1. What will people do if it suddenly turns out that some of the people did something that could be viewed as a “lie” in the eyes of the investigation?
  2. What will you do if it goes in favor of Blizzard?

You need to know that whatever outcome happens, it’s not going to be like what you expect your headcanon will happen.

That is what you sound like.

I see a lot of other people thought your “opinion” was inappropriate, too.

Youre so cringe. I’ve been playing for 16+ years. I’m not restarting another
MMO. I feel attached to the game because of the years spent but to restart that? Nah, I’ll just play other games. The MMO genre is already being filtered out
