There are brand new people coming back to play WoW. I imagine some newcomers won’t even realize there are 2 versions of the game and the ones who do probably won’t assume there’s separate forums. General Discussion is General Discussion.

As for the marketing thing, there are A LOT of people who still play retail and are disgruntled. Many probably considering leaving. Those teetering on the edge are potential Classic customers. Money is money.

There are also those who don’t go digging through the forums to find stuff. Being right on the main forums makes it more accessible to multiple audiences.

I’d like to see a real world/road rules scenario where the original creators are forced to live in the same house and play BFA for its entirety.

Topic was a fantastic social experiment on what happens when a blue posts about classic.

To no ones surprise, a bunch of teeth barring, rabid angry posters showed up to lash out.

P.S. their forums, their rules - they can post whatever they want. They didnt force you to enter the thread and spew hate.

Half the thread is GD posters passive-aggressively stating that this thread shouldn’t be here. The bitterness is very transparent.
