With the amount of (not necessarily unwarranted) hate that Blizzard is getting lately, it wouldn’t surprise me at all if people were making it up. It does a really good job of riling people up.
I agree completely about the streamers being bad testers.
Zones are bugged on the stress test server right now. I can’t get through Thousand Needles. I keep getting teleported back.
I mean… they may be blocking you from going there.
I honestly don’t know how else to explain it. It is labeled “Beta & Stress Test” because the servers for both are located in the same client. Not because the stress test servers are for both.
Who am I attacking?
But people were able to get to Un’Goro Crater earlier. Why is it different now?

Yeah, that is strange, but I could also see people making dozens of accounts just to try to increase their chances of getting invited. Not that that would necessarily be a bad thing, but I can kind of see why they would limit it.
I mean, don’t see why that would be a problem NOW when it hasn’t been a problem for oh… 7 wow expansions, Overwatch, Diablo 3, Hearthstone, etc etc.
Unless subs have dropped to a point that they saw it as an easy way to get free money /shrug.
Several things here. The lead dev who was spawning fun things for the people in the starting zones is not the same person who would be reading reports or gathering the data. He might look at all of it once it’s compiled, but they definitely have teams specifically for those things.
And when did I ever have a problem with someone reporting their experience? Again, disagreeing with someones opinion is NOT attacking them.
It’s a forum. People are going to have conversations in the forum. I’m not telling anyone not to post anything, I’m just having a conversation.
I wasn’t able to login to the stress test, couldn’t ever get past the character creation page without an error.
But super excited for this to come out in August and for patch 8.2 keep up the good work!
