Oh no, I definitely don’t agree with the decision, just that I can see a point that they may try to make in its favor. Also wouldn’t be surprised if the sub count did play a role in it.

I’m not berating anyone. I’m having conversations about what myself and others experienced today.
Judging by the conversations in this thread, yes, people came here to converse. It’s almost like that’s the point of the vast majority of these forums. If Blizzard didn’t want there to be discussion here they would have locked it after making the announcement.

This has been funtimes. Spent a while going thru the queues and being disconnected. Spent a while creating a character and getting DC’ed. Spent a while waiting for the realm to come back online. Finally was able to make a character =D only to find that “World server is down”. It’s like a progression raid boss where you wipe repeatedly but gain a little progress each time.
I hope that I eventually get in so I can relive the good old days with my beta stress test mini-me =D

Sucks that its stuck on the whole world server down thing, but hopefully i helped a bit by spamming loggin attempts for you guys! Hoping to get in as i went and plugged in my old old old pc and am looking at screenshots, trying to find a way to get them onto my phone and ill drop some oldschool classic screenshots for everyone

Got off work late was hoping to play for a bit, created a character, begin loading music cuts at 95% few minutes later “world server down”. Watched people playing on my lunch break too at 4pm. Hopefully Blizzard gives me an invite again, I’m calling in sick next time hahaha.
No point calling in. 95% of us were stuck at Dc’ing during the login process.
World Server still down, though when you look at the realm status, it shows medium population on.
yup made characters trying to log on just to get world server is down well ill go shoot some people in a few rounds of apex legends then come bak and try again
influencers priority system was working though, chance and asmongold got in to stream despite thousands smashing their battering rams against the servers trying to get in.

Stress test should be extended for those who waited all day to at least see a glimpse, but instead once again watched stream priority come into play.

I dont feel like your stress test today would be accurate, as far as the world servers are concerned. Numerous players were unable to access the world server, such as myself, so your measures on your loads of the in-game worlds is far under what it would have been if all invited players would have been able to play.
I would strongly suggest for another round of measuring stress testing on the world servers, as countless members of your interested invitees never got past character creation during your measuring.
Unless somehow you weren’t measuring the in-game servers, and just measuring everything before characters were created?
But with a game like this, for sure you wish to stress test the world servers too. I highly doubt you got an accurate reading for that.
But I’m not a tech person, I’m happy to help if it helps.

idk if stress testing justifys saying you were in the beta xD
