I lost all faith in Blizzard… they are going to permanently ruin the economy of each server in the low chance that each server will balance to a neat 3k~. Everyone might as well be NPCs if everytime I log in I am pushed to a different layer with different people… how in the world do I keep track of that many people? This is stupid.

I am EST, I was looking forward to playing on the Rp-PVP realm. I don’t care for the time, but will I have latency issues if I play on the one PST Rp-PVP realm?

I’m in the stress test right now just making various level 1s testing appearances. And every time I make a new one I’m in a different layer and I see different people at the starting spot. And it’s going to be even worse come launch. Get ready for 100+ layers per server.

Names - makes no difference, its a label

Time Zone - seems they set all the Chicago servers in the east time zone, the LA servers for west, deal with it. Everyone will have decent ping

Number of servers - they will watch the realms as people grab names, they can add new servers on the fly as needed, relax

And PvP is going to be HYPE. Soo many people.

I actually agree with this. Maybe I do have a pair of rose-tinted goggles but it sure feels like this game is going to way more popular than this number of servers can handle.

Most people can manage an hour or two of time zone shifting without any issues. See: the various sets of realms that were combined despite being in different time zones, such as Hydraxis/Terenas (the former was CST, the latter MST, the combination is MST).

People will complain about absolutely anything and everything in this game.
