Maybe they gave us such ridiculous names because when the swarm hits Classic on release and they have to add new servers because the stampede has crashed the system, all the new servers will have cooler names so the lot of us will be thinking “OH THANK GOODNESS” and take the free transfers.

Next level strats.

Europe was unbelievably lucky with their names.

They get Chromie, Hydraxian, Sulfuron, etc.

We get Grobbulus. On PST.

Changed my character but same person. I live in Ames. Looking forward to getting back to WoW for the first time in 10 years.

Here’s the current retail realm list by data center.

There are only 2 data centers in the US 
Chicago and LA

Eastern servers are in Chicago.

Your Horde and Ally characters will have to be on different PvP servers. It wasn’t until Wrath when the removed that restriction.

Could we please get a CST or EST RP-PVP server? I mean, sh!t, if I wanted to connect all the way to California, I’d be playing Black Desert Online.

Awesome! My guild is in the minority in that they like PvE but if any Iowans need a guild, let me know. We are going to end up on Mankrik or Pagle.

On the upside, everyone will subconsciously avoid choosing our realm in the list - streamers included. I mean, they’d need to be super interested in RP to roll on a server that sounds like a diarrhea gone wrong.

All the whining about inconsequential stuff.

Names - makes no difference, its a label

Time Zone - seems they set all the Chicago servers in the east time zone, the LA servers for west, deal with it. Everyone will have decent ping

Number of servers - they will watch the realms as people grab names, they can add new servers on the fly as needed, relax
