Would Atiesh quest in progress be deleted too in WotLK pre-patch?

I received the quest [Atiesh, Greatstaff of the Guardian] ago. It’s the last quest of Atiesh-Greatstaff of the guardian questchain, So I can get Atiesh-Greatstaff of the guardian after just doing exorcise the staff of demon in Stratholme. And I’m going to finish this to acquire Atiesh-Greatstaff of the Guardian at August 28th because that day is my character’s birthday.

But after the pre-patch of WotLK, Naxxramas is moved to Northrend, and Splinters of Atiesh becomes unacquiralbe So the questchain of Atiesh becomes unable to start.

Removal of Atiesh’s splinter isn’t the matter as I already completed all the quest except that last one. But does the quest already received will be deleted? I really want to know this because It was really hard to get 40 splinters of Atiesh before WotLK.

As Atiesh becomes unacquirable after WotLK, I SPENDED LOTS OF GOLDS, TIME AND REALLY, REALLY LOTS OF EFFORTS BECAUSE I DID THAT FROM THE BEGINNING DURING THE TBC!!!
THE CHARACTERS ARE NOT STRONG AS WOTLK’s, AND NAXXRAMAS IS NOT POPULAR AS VANILLA’S SO IT FORCED ME TO GIVE LOTS OF GOLD TO THE PEOPLE WHO WILL GO NAXXRAMAS WITH ME AND IT DEMANDED REALLY LOTS OF TIME TOO TO MAKE PARTY. AND I HAD TO KNOW ALL THE TACTICS OF NAXXRAMAS BECAUSE I HAD TO PLAY THE LEADER ROLE IN NAXXRAMAS TO ACQUIRE ATIESH-GREATSTAFF OF THE GUARDIAN BEFORE WOTLK. SO IT IS REALLY PRICELESS TO ME.

Therefore, it will be extremely sad if I can’t acquire Atiesh-Greatstaff of the guardian because the quest I already received be deleted. So, if the quest already in progress is planned to be deleted too after pre-patch of WotLK, I will finish that before the WotLK pre-patch. As I can’t know when will the pre-patch of WotLK be started and that is secret of the company, at least, I just want to know the quest already received will be deleted too. With that information, I can decide when to finish the [Atiesh, Greatstaff of the Guardian] to acquire the Atiesh-Greatstaff of the Guardian.

No one can realy answer that question my best advice would be to finish that quest before transfering the toon to WOTLKC.

Wouldn’t the company know the plan? I think it’s not hard to say about that unlike the date of pre-patch.

This is a player to player support forum with blue moderation not dev I would suggest posting in the WOTLKC beta forums.

I knew customer support like Vrakthris was Blizzard’s employee. Can you inform where is the WotLK beta forums? It seems to I have to go there.

You can tweet the dev thats not guarenteed but that would be ur best bet.

I just want to point out that BCC and WOTLKC are 2 seperate games so unless ur gona transfer ur atiesh quest toon to WOTLKC it wont be deleted till u transfer.

IIRC, my understanding is TBCC will be converted to WotLK on release, so it’ll be just Vanilla and WotLK for classic servers.

Unless that’s changed since I last read about it a couple months ago.
