Pretty neat that I would be able to play classic on my old beater laptop if I wanted to. Not that I want to but it could be handy in the future. Canât believe weâre less than a month away. A few years ago, the idea of classic actually happening was laughable. I remember making threads about legacy vanilla realms back during Burning Crusade even, and again when I came back in Cataclysm. Never thought itâd happen. It. Is. Happening.

This is unacceptable. No Windows XP support. How am I suppose to get the true nostalgia experience if I cant play it on my retro XP rig?
Thanks for the updated! I would jump in and re-sub I wish can get an time off of work, but I would be fine to get in start leveling and prepare.
a good percent of the Warcraft community quit jobs, ended relationships, stopped showering, became fat, died from to much pizza hut delivery, Parents basements Became Frozen Tombs due to the costs of wow subscriptions and the time needed to dedicate to classic wow experience.

Dear god, donât let it happen again, Make it âFREE to Playâ so we donât lose another Generation to this sickness and Mental Health Disease.

Oh nevermind, I get it. Youâre one of those private server folk that think youâre entitle to WoW classic for free because youâve been playing Vanilla WoW for free for the past 10 years on private servers. Well guess what? In true vanilla wow, you paid Blizzard a subscription to play the game. It was the cost of operating servers and supporting the company that brought you an amazing game. You wanted Classic wow back, here it is. Pay up.

its cause a lot of players feel they have to play if they pay for it, if you make it free a lot of people will play causally and enjoy it without the stress an burden of taken a hit in the pocket, once and a while they might actually pay for a subscription to play Expanded Wow, but fall back to classic without the burden of potential Life crippling Depressions. Its pretty serious the state of gaming and its over all determent it can have on the player in times of failing moments. Who are you gonna disappoint, your Wife/Husband or your 39 Guildy Raid buddys , who need you to heal or tank. Its a tough World, the Raid failed cause your Druid healer didnât show up âaibellâ how could you choose real life over your guild?! we have currently black listed you from all Raid participation and replaced you with a More active and Guild Oriented Druid. Just kidding, O⌠Snap she quit the guild!
Maybe its time to wake up and realize your real life priorities are more important then wow. If you cant somewhat consistently raid because you have kids or a long hour job, then guess what? That sucks for you. Time to move on. Stop trying to make everything bend to you.
If you feel you need to ruin your life because you have to get the most of a $15 sub, then you probably need some consulting on that.
Again, all youâre trying to do is make some big movement to mask the fact that you donât want to pay any money for a game. Just admit it. In terms of costs, WoW is the cheapest form of entertainment I do. Its literally 50 cents a day.

thx , I want to see the game better for all of us, that means ramping up the subscribers for expanded wow, which means giving people the classic wow for free to get them into the game, get them wanting more, making them hungry for burning crusade, wrath of the lichking, cataclysm , pandriea, legion, and battle for azeroth, I am happy to have my brain picked it is clearly differnt with a form of willpower that says, i donât really need the game, but if you make it free iâll join in an support it an even tell new players how awesome the expansions are when they say âshould i get a subscription?â id tell them yeah its great if you never experinced it before!

I realize that Eloraell thinks the stress test will last 24 hours, but the only thing we know officially is that it will end sometime on Friday the 9th. Has there been any official confirmation about how long it will last?
Yes, Blizzard developers do. But since they also have families, Blizzard tries to not make them work at midnight.
Officially, no, but i expect theyâll announce it with an update tomorrow or Tuesday.

sweet, my 2004-built rig will still run it! any word on if Classic will support SLI or Crossfire? i know Azeroth doesnt support SLI right now.
You installed a 2007 gfx card in your PC in 2004? So lightning fast it goes back in time.
I mean, if we want to be real picky Geforce 6000 series came out in 2004, and could SLI.
