I have my scientific calculator ready to go to calculate stats. This is the most exciting thing thatâs happened for me in games in a really long time. Back to thinking instead of just mashing buttons - yes!!! :-)

Is this release of classic going to stop at only the first game release or will it expand and carry on to BC and Wotlc? I kinda hope it will carry through again eventually as you can only do MC so many times before folks will start to call it a day. Other than that yep im in and looking forward to going back to the foot slogging for 40 levels lol

I always thought it would be cool as hell to play with some Aussies or Kiwis ⊠but can you imagine the lag on those servers from North America? 
Same with the Brazzies. I imagine most of them speak English, and it probably wouldnât hurt to brush up on my Portuguese 
Or a Finnish server? Donno why I have such a warm spot in my heart for Finns. Must be thoughts of the Winter War and what a bunch of tough hard-headed bastards they were
Thatâs what Iâd expected ⊠until I joined my first âfamily-orientedâ guild and this 13-year-older (shocked at my unbelievably elderly age) decided to adopt me as his grandfather (or maybe great-grandfather). Godz ⊠had to quit the guild, couldnât get away from the kid without hurting everyoneâs feelings.
Well, maybe not THAT rare. But youâre right: being a hunter was a lot of work, took a lot of time and effort, and maintaining that pet was a big part of it. Iâd forgotten about needing to skill up the pet by taming other pets: thatâs why I was thinking I could only have two hunter pets; the third slot was saved for taming training pets Well, I still loved them; almost made up for the total PITA cooking (mainly fire starting) was. And fishing when junk didnât count toward skilling up.

Will our progress be saved? For the actual launch?

nope. august 13th they will bring up the launch servers so you can reserve 3 character names. but nothing saves from testing.

But they said you can get to level 15.
in the stress test you can only get to level 15. its only a 2 day test so thatâs not unreasonable. after the test they will wipe and we reserve names on whatever realms on the 13th (if desired) and then we can log into the actual world on the 27th

So will the characters we make during this pre test carry over to live?

I doubt it. The server names might be the same, but they already announce the 12th as the reservation creation. I bet they wipe the server after their 24 hour test is complete.
