Yet another terribly out of touch take. All this data from sod and still making horrible decisions. Leave vanilla how it was and stop messing with the wpvp systems. This “everyone should be able to get everything” mentality is ruining your game.

Please do not turn this into retail. This will ruin the classic pvp experience if large guilds are not able to clash in the open world with multiple raid groups.

Please consider reverting this new layer formula.
I’m not kidding when I say this may potentially kill the server.
Especially if players within coordinated raid groups are suddenly severed from their group for momentarily leaving a zone and returning

I think we need some more clarification. what if we have to drop group to get an enchant done and then join the previous group back? will we just be locked out from joining and being put back with our friends? i think this causes more issues than it fixes, running as a guild 40 player raid group into the instance for half of your raid to get layered into a “more balanced layer” is not good for the game

So when a raid group can’t see each other to summon, then what? Any chance we can summon inside dungeons and raids to avoid this before it becomes a problem?

There has never been a more out of touch development team. Stop trying to reinvent the wheel. Take a minute and look at the data from the dumpster fire that was SoD and stop trying to leave your mark with this rubbish.

Im typically not concerned about RPVP realms however it could go a long way in the event the first PvP server gets to cap instead of opening another PvP server open an RPvP server.

oh cool, so basically we will be separated from other party members at all times if were trying to quest together, or if its a 1v5 and homies try to come and help you, but no one can layer hop to you, nor can you layer hop out. Neat.
so its untested? couldnt get 5 people from the QA team to log in and do a tester run? or sit down and have a think group behind it? “Hey this guy logged in, and was loaded into layer 2, but its packed, and was sent to layer 5 and burned his CD. raid/instance is in 5 minutes, or he needs a crafter and he cant layer hop over.” GG’s i guess. it doesnt take much to figure out what would happen and how big of inconvenience this is.

Everytime you make a change you change the experience.
Sure it may be beneficial for the player but for the overall game, its atrocious.
We dont want SoD.
SOD is the experiment. This was a 2019 promise.

People love playing the original version of a game that came out 20 years ago. Devs making these adjustment lead to players leaving retail… for a game that came out 20 years ago. Stop trying to reinvent the wheel. The original devs knew what they were doing. Vanilla needs a world feel. phased realms remind me of retail. My apologies if I misunderstood the post.

My point is that there is a place to take Vanilla and to make it something new. Why advertise a traditional vanilla with minor changes. When all you’re doing is making it look like a SOD reboot.
