Also its cash from the retail sub fee that is funding the re creation of classic. Just some food for thought for people complaining about the sub fee for classic. We have to pay back the retail crowd for lending us the money to be able to play classic lol.

I will pay for both classic and commercial version if need. I enjoy the game, so this is my outlet. I donât drink, do drugs or who*re around. WOW and shooting are my two outlets from the aggravations of the life I lead.
My choice, my opinion. In the end, you can either accept or not accept, Blizz will do as they see fit to maintain their franchise.

I sometimes send Blizzard random amounts of cash in the mail on top of the sub fee just to say âHey Blizzard im here and support you!â

Yes, because literally every other blizzard game is like that you have a ONE time purchase and then they also give you updates and run the servers, and some of those blizzard games are even free to play and they still run the servers for them. I would gladly pay 60$ if it meant no sub fee.

Say hello to Diablo Immortal. All âBlizzardâ games will be heading in that direction. The writing has been on the wall for some time. Do you think itâs a mistaken they implemented WoW tokens and then sell mounts for 5 million gold?
Disappointed that the whales convinced them this was a good idea after they announced a combined sub would be more like it.
Still wouldnât change my view of pay or donât play.
I didnât like the idea of paying a sub for UO when i first started years ago either.

Thing is I wouldnât think blizz is doing this for the wow community any longer. Especially if they change their minds now.
They had their chance to be the money grubbing uncaring corporation some here claim they are.

Turns out I was wrong. They are doing this for wow players. Not just the long lost tribe of vanilla. Not just the pserver pirates. Not just the retail scrubs.
They are doing it for the gaming community.
The WOW gaming community to be precise.
Only thing that would change for me is my sub would be cycled even more than it already is.
Blizz knew this.
Combined subs was what was best for wow.
Expect the same thing with TBC and Wrath. If we get those too.
This is blizz giving back to the wow community and reeling people back to WOW.

I think allowing non subs to post in classic forums was a test and made them realize they were cutting off a great deal of player input.
They also realized allowing level 1âs to post brought out the trolls in droves.
It also made all of those who âlostâ their account creds roll at least a level 10 on live to speak here.
Kinda brilliant really.
Seems blizz wants to communicate with the player base without a pay wall restriction on the forums.
I do like the level 10 req. The rep grind is a bit meh but I can see how it will help with crap posting and what not.
