Check out last night’s epic thread about Vanilla CE pets. Someone thought you shouldn’t be able to have them in Classic because Blizz said that what you get in retail shouldn’t transfer to classic, and vice-versa…despite the fact that your account is flagged as owning a CE, and Blizz’s statement was specifically about things like mog gear and mounts. The guy was just ready to die on that hill.

It was not static, it got content patches and adjustments all thruout the period it existed. I was fine with the sub because of that. There was no reason to think that the content patches would cease. The only time it became static content was when the expansions happened. Did you even play vanilla?
God, I love when people ask me if I played vanilla. LOL.

I don’t know why - but this posts seems as good a place as any… I was just going through old cards I have for the World of Warcraft TCG. I actually have a bunch of the ‘artifacts’ and scratch cards for special mounts and things like that. I never bothered to use any of them. Are these things still valid? When did the scratch off cards exist - was it around Vanilla, or did that come in later years?

But i would check the prices on Ebay for the mount cards you have, some of them go for serious money.
People still are doing codes for Murky, though you are not guaranteed that will work.

Yeah - I was considering doing that! I’ve got a few BCW boxes with cards and another halfbox of unopened boosters I should open.
I’ve been decluttering my basement. Literally through out a kitchen garbage bag full of Magic cards - just saved the rares for potential selling.

Why is everyone feeding these two so hard? Classic is going to be tied to subscription. Case closed. These people can yell all they want, it’s not going to change a single thing.

Gnocci had r6 in vanilla and Starman had r3 and r4 in vanilla. You need to go on the non-forum version of the wow website, look up the character name and go in their armory sometimes. It’s really counterintuitive.
If you’re going to use “did you even play vanilla?” as an argument on these forums, at least make sure the other guy did not play vanilla, otherwise you look like an fool.
Especially in this case where they both played Vanilla and are both flinging the “YOU DIDN’T PLAY VANILLA” argument at each other LOL.

Lets see, giving people something they pay for which in return makes them more money and they keep paying for vs giving people something where the make less money on it.

Yeah no, yelling would be like you, whose entire post history sense the new forums is just on this one thread. You can ask Blizzard all you want, it’s not going to happen.

I’m all for a sub for Classic, what I’m not for is paying $15 just to access Classic as i have zero interest in Retail. Classic isn’t getting updates, no new content and thus needs very minimum support yet i have to pay 50% too much for it = RIP OFF
There should be a option for a classic only sub at a reduced rate. It’s fine that people who have a retail sub get access to classic for free.
Yeah 50 cents a day for unfettered server access and no daily time limits is such a hardship after all. God forbid.
