Theyâre definitely forcing WOTLK-classic players all onto the Cata-classic timeline.
Iâm sorry all the gear youâve been raiding for is about to become irrelevant by lvl 81 quest greens with a higher ilvl.
I always thought it was criminal that they didnât make a TBC-Era and a Wotlk-Era to preserve those expansions indefinitely as they did for vanilla, but Acti-blizz operates solely for the function of short-term profit.

Good way to get players who missed out on OG vanilla through current to play through all the content they missed. Era babies will be the replacement moniker for Wrath babies (in Blizzâs mind).
But I applaud all the folks that presented today even if 90% of it was dog water to me. Thatâs a tough crowd.

this got almost NO cheering at blizzCON⌠Itâs a shame that itâs not FRESH, ending the Classic trilogy - and that the open world will be DOA since the wrath playerbase will STEAMROLL the content. A whole new world will go to waste and be ghost towns⌠add flying to where people will just fly over everything and whats the point? Might as well just release raid instances. Blizzâs short term nostalgia cash grabs is going to come to an end at some point⌠Classic Trilogy and fresh progression servers for Cataâ>Legion thatâs how it shouldâve went.

Wow. So no Wrath servers at all? I donât think Iâve been this disappointed since Cata released the first time. But at least they told us now before too many people bought the year sub. Gratz to those who did like Cata though, itâs your time now.

only one community convinced itself some new version of the game was coming, then got no cheers when it did not come out. Hilarious you guys are lying about this. Now did cata blow the doors off blizzcon, no but it was not silent.
I was thinking the same thing. I didnât even want to leave the TBC and wished they would have kept one server at TBC endgame.
I am happy for those who wanted this, but losing the original Azeroth again isnât for me. This time my WoW fatigue is terminal.

Wasnât that the point of playing WoW Classic to Wrath Classic? With the release of Cataclysm, the world of Azeroth changed. It stopped being the âClassicâ world we all grew to adore. I am happy that since Patch 3.4.3, I was able to revisit the version of the game that I remember most fondly playing. However, I am truly disappointed and sad to hear that my days of playing WotLK Classic are numbered. I will continue to play WotLK Classic to its very last day of activity. The moment the so-called progressive Cataclysm servers go live, I will kindly bow out.
