Is it possible to add in a rep tabard for some of the factions? Or even adding a 25% bonus to rep gained for each faction when you reach Friendly, Honored, Revered, and Exalted on your main or highest level character (with each individual faction up to 100%) for alts since it will be a faster pace Vanilla progression server I assume, and many people who absolutely love making alts who can’t commit to playing more than 2-4 hours a day would love a change like this to catch up to the rest of the pack. Also, when the time comes when players are no longer forming groups for example Cenarion Hold rep it may be harder to keep up. Or just implement a “Account Wide” reputation system like Retail has, might get a lot of hate for this but I think a few might like this type of change and be more inclined to keep playing.
I haven’t played for 3 years I renewed my subscription just a few days ago because of the announcement of new classic realms, I was so happy to come back but the leaking of SoD into classic with the addition of Dual-Spec has completely killed my excitement for these servers, I just cancelled my subscription 15 minutes ago and will pursue a refund for the month I had just paid for.
I’m going to venture and guess that most of the people complaining about dual spec are DPS Andy’s who have never had the pleasure of trying to farm or quest as a healer. I’m a healer at heart, and I’m not going to pay 50-100g every week if I want to solo and do some quests. This is unbelievably an amazing change and makes me want to play Fresh even more.
I’m a resto druid
for REAL, never seen a more whiny subcategory of a game audience.
Amazing changes!! I would just ask for one more simple QoL change:
Make nameplates visible at 41 yards instead of 20
Well had high hopes of fresh tbc being announced but was going to suffer through vanilla to play tbc.
Now newest update see they turning it into retail, I lost all motivation to play.
Warcraft 3 has been good so guess canceling and will be playing that.
Turning it into retail by… making more than 1 spec viable in raids? By not screwing over healing classes who want to farm stuff…?
See you in TBC
You will but I ain’t suffering through a year of “vanilla”
Will TBC have a permanent server that will not go past TBC? Will TBC stay at TBC for at least 4+ years like the Classic Era servers are currently?
Please bring all of these changes especially dual spec to hardcore please! W
But in practice, there is no versatility in endgame. Paladins are healers. Druids either spec feral or resto. Anyone trying to spec for ‘versatility’ is griefing. In a raid with 10 warriors, you’re the 6th best tank and the 6th best dps, dual spec will not change this. In fact, this HELPS these hybrid classes actually be hybrids much easier. Warriors can’t heal, and they definitely can’t cleanse debuffs or place totems.
Please bring all these changes (LFG tool, dual spec, instant mail, etc.) to hardcore realms! W
Oh no, people who play support classes get to enjoy the game more? I want my money back!
Go play retail for a few days bro, then get back to us. This delusion will wash away pretty fast.
please make sure to monitor player populations on the existing classic and classic HC servers, if they begin to drop in player count, consider merging the servers later on!
Won’t the lack of debuff limit make PVE much easier?
Will a Prot warrior be able to chance to a Fury warrior mid raid? Dual spec seems OP as hell. Every healer able to turn into a DPS spec for fights that require less healing, Mage changing from fire to frost spec depending on the boss, etc.
I mean maybe but really how hard was PVE in classic anyway?
You couldn’t be more wrong. Druids in HOTW/NS spec can absolutely OT better than any fury warrior and still turn out huge healing throughput. Certainly not griefing. Moonglow is arguably the best druid healing spec in the game and it takes almost the entire balance tree. There is a reason practically every post by a druid main on this forum is negative.
