WoW Classic 20th Anniversary Realms Information -- Updated Nov. 18

Best part about this change is we wont have to deal with a certain warrock, err warlock.

There’s a difference between can and should. Anyone trying to stick their finger in both pies in this game is gonna end up doing worse than they could be, and that matters even more on hardcore where every little counts.

Even if this isn’t the case, dual spec allows druids to go cat in the open world for pvp and questing, just like any other class. Where’s the downside?

There really isn’t any. The people who are mad and complaining are just mad and complaining.

This is insanity. Actually unbelievable. You’ve run multiple iterations of the game with massive changes. I know folks, myself included, waiting around with bated breath for another run at the Classic trilogy, or at least TBC, and dual spec just ruins it. (And yes it affects gameplay, Classic feel, and everyone on the server; don’t start with those dumb arguments.) Start the countdown to tokens, paid boost, everything. Very difficult to justify a sub at this point.

Dual Spec!!! Praise Green Jesus

i’ve still yet to see anyone actually give a good reason as to why dual spec is bad outside of “muh #nochanges

Stop being so dramatic, these are changes people have been wanting for a long time. When was the last time you played retail? If you think these small QoL equate to classic being retail you’re just straight up out of touch with reality.

“You are coping, Coping and seething!”

thank you for listening, Cheers

The impacts of these sorts of changes have been discussed on this forum and others ad nauseam for years. To post on this forum that you haven’t seen one or can’t find one is obviously mendacious. You can just say you prefer these modifications despite their impacts on the gameplay, no need to be mendacious about it.

I would like to see some of the other spec tier added. Particularly feral dps/tank that they put into SoD. I’ll play a feral either way, but it would be nice to have more than 3 upgrades in naxx, etc.

Also Dual Spec is going to be awesome. Impacts on game play? Play mono-spec if that’s what you like. If you like flexibility, use it. Player choice ftw!

No not really, I’ve always like no duel spec in classic. Gives players more character IMO and creates a wider variety in play in random encounters. Hopefully it doesn’t come till atleast phase 5 since being delayed anyways.

For the purists that celebrated no GDKP, while there won’t be gdkp i’m happy to atleast see that they put something in to upset you LOL.

Amazing stuff. Well done! Im finally motivated to level a resto druid and not risk removing player buffs just from using my abilities! And grinding sooms in feral is now not going to send me broke. Huge W.

Day 4 of reminding you how beloved RPPVP servers have always been. Emerald Dream, Grobbulus, Crusader Strike, etc. I cannot imagine I’ll be spending much time on a non RP realm, especially in classic when the RP is peak.

I fail to see how any of these changes will negatively impact the game. Back in 19’ sure, but now? I don’t think anyone was looking forward to being a tank or healer AGAIN without dual spec. It just makes sense at this point. I’d be surprised if you had an argument against instant mail between alts, but who knows. The debuff limit was always a glaring issue, i’m sure druid and warlock enthusiasts are very grateful for that change.

Buff Retry and Prot Paladin plz :frowning: Literally have 1 hability for attack

Yeah but now im competing for loot with an even larger group of “spec fluid” people.
