These changes are very much improvements on the foundation of the game. The buff/debuff cap limited specs on how they can play significantly. Being a tank for a raid and wanting to PvP was a pain without dual spec.
That’s what I’m saying man
“dont pull guys I need to respec imp cleave”
“make sure you farm your bogling roots for raid this week guys”
There are going to be a lot of random toxic knockoff effects from changing things without it being needed in a game where players min/max.
Its still a warrior simulator. Boring
THANK you for Dual Spec! Ty Ty Ty Ty
Let’s hope not. The toxic min/max attitude is one of the things that totally ruined classic for me; tryhards treating a fun casual game like srs bsnss
Dual spec is a TERRIBLE change. I understand the majority of players will be happy about this change but it absolutely ruins the entire point of the druid class when you offer everyone dual spec. The entire point of the druid is to be the jack of all trades and master of none and make the trade-off to be best at nothing in exchange for being able to both heal and tank or dps and tank or dps and heal. The price of that versatility is not being the best at ANY of those things. Now you say you will introduce dual spec and have warriors able to be the best tanks and best dps at the same time with NO PENALTY WHATSOEVER. Want your priest to be able to heal then DPS with NO PENALTY… no problem. Remember that the penalty for respeccing is there to protect the class identity of druids, paladins and shamans who bring a degree of versatility and pay for it DEARLY. Warriors and priests didn’t need to be EVEN STRONGER in classic. This is a terrible change and as a result, I’m not interested in your fresh servers anymore. Please rethink this and save it for TBC when versatility is much less of a thing.
I can’t quite agree because paladin/shaman (idk about druid) are hit the worst out of it since going deep into the healing spec means it’s much harder to do things out in the world.
Womp Womp, enjoy your era servers.
Well, I’ve seen far more requests/support for this than resistance to it. People have been asking for dual-spec and removal of the debuff limit since before 2019, I don’t think these are arbitrary changes. It’s a matter of personal opinion at the end of the day, but you can’t expect Classic WoW to stay exactly as it was in it’s 2004 vanilla state until the end of time.
Instant Mail. OMG! This makes me happy.
Okay but who is that on? The benefits of this far outweigh the negatives that are a player created issue. If you think imp cleave is going to be the difference maker in your parse, congrats you’re in the high 99th percentile. For most that will not make one bit of difference but it will open up easier access to PvP or farming specs.

Where is the other thread?
with additional information. I saw screenshots of it and its gone now. Or was it moved?
- dungeon exp removed
- class balancing
Please consider maintaining permanent Vanilla, TBC, and WoTLK servers. Additionally, please consider allowing players to keep a copy of their character on each of these versions, that way the players can enjoy the same character in three different variations of the game: lvl 60 on Vanilla, lvl 70 on TBC, AND lvl 80 on WoTLK servers!
Will 2019 Classic Era be segregated away from 2024 Classic Fresh? I worry that this is negatively impact/destroy the population therein and cause battlegrounds to have excessive/unavailable queue times. Please consider connecting them to the 2024 Classic Fresh battlegrounds or using Classic Era servers as the permanent Vanilla servers that 2024 Classic Fresh characters can be copied to before progressing onward to TBC.
Please consider instead of dual-spec as such (an ability usable anywhere) just removing the gold cost from respeccing at the class trainers to prevent abuse and add open-world gravity to one’s choices.
cant wait for the out of touch dont even play the game devs to keep going back on this
keep applauding these changes until they make more sir

These changes aren’t even the bad part. The ranking changes are going to make a bigger difference than any of this when every person is rolling around in r13 gear.
