Ive gotten 15 people suspended for selling dungeon loot for gold and boosts they are both against the rules you agreed to

I’m a bit confused.

So, GDKP = Banned

Selling Runs specifically for Loot = also Banned

But Boosting = Not Banned

But what if the Booster says he’s going to pass on all gear, does that also break the rules?

I don’t see where the exact line is. Can anyone break it down exactly?

Edit: Wait is Boosting also banned? Then why do I see tons of people advertising it in Trade?

Same reason you still see people doing casinos even tho they were banned years ago, i report them than in 1 or 2 days i get a message they were actioned and i dont see them again

Show me a person who gets banned for selling a blackstone ring and I’ll believe you, but you will never find it, because it just doesn’t happen.

It’s obvious what Blizzard is truly targeting, whether their stated rules can be stretched to encompass certain other things or not.

I’m not sure of the argument you’re trying to make, because one could say it’s merely pedantry.

Like yes, you could definitely perceive from their words that selling blackstone rings and things like that is part of that rule, like sure, you’re right!

…except nobody is ever going to get banned for doing those things, so the practical application of you being “right” is worthless, one could even argue you’re technically wrong as a result, and being technically correct is the best kind of correct.

Blizzard arbitrarily enforcing their restrictions is not a good thing.

I mean the actual issue is they refuse to enforce their anti botting and RMT rules in the first place.

I’d argue it’s neither good nor bad.

Nobody is hurt by someone paying their own gold to another to run them through a dungeon and hope for a drop. I mean if you just read that to yourself, you’d understand that this is just a basic MMO thing that people do in all MMOs, all the time.

Right so let me post what you ignored.

The entire premise of the GDKP ban is that it hurts RMT and botting, but blizzard refuses to enforce those rules in the first place.

I’ll be honest, I was a little shocked there wasn’t a RP Server given to the anniversary realms at all.

Hopefully soon/eventually one is created.

Phase 2 is so fast that I am still in low gear, killing a mob with 3K heal takes too long. *sad music insert

If the rank caps are the same as SOD then you killed pvp before it even started “WAY LATE”…

SoD capped it at like rank 3 in phase 1. In fresh the cap is going to be rank 11 for now. They’ve given no indication when rank 14 will be unlocked, but I would bet it won’t be until after BWL is out for a while.

Level cap in phase 1 was also 25 in SoD…

Ah well I’ve never seen anyone get banned for it, nor have I been for doing it myself, so effectively it may as well be.

What truly is a rule if it is never enforced?

Answer is simple: Blizzard doesn’t care, so you shouldn’t either.
