True- though from the intent of the question it didn’t seem to be ‘will I get xp and level out of a twink bracket’ but more a ‘can I do this as an alternative to questing’. Naturally, a twink just can’t turn in tokens.
And- you can as mentioned gain AV xp, albeit often slow.
It’s the lazy way out that destroys any possible attempt at a feeling of community in battlegrounds. You could have at least done battlegroups, but no, I guess you’re going to throw every single WoW Classic player into a single pool because you’re (not you Kaivax, I’m talking to whoever was in charge of this decision) unwilling to commit the resources necessary to move it away from the Retail approach to BGs.
Can we please know if this means Oceanic realms will stay seperate from the US realms?
I’m almost certain that I speak for everyone that no one enjoys being ported half way around the world to another server to play on Ping that is 10 times higher than their world server is.
As a rogue (and other melee classes for that matter) it causes so much frustration, and completely changes the way the game plays.
That’s kind of disappointing. That’s too large of a pool of players and removes battlegroup identity that was there in past. You’re rarely going to run into same players if it’s your entire region. At least with battle groups you got to know your enemies names.
There’s what, 39 servers for classic? Didn’t battlegroups in vanilla have somewhere between 10-20 servers? I suspect they won’t have US East and West in the same battlegroups, for example, so it seems to me it won’t be that much different from vanilla days.
My guess is they will also be adding PVP and PVE servers into the same battlegrounds. Which I was not looking forward to at all. I feel in the long run all PVP servers will slowly become Horde dominant and PVE servers Alliance. Making every server pretty much PVE. I guess their reasoning is faster Queue times for everyone with a dead world.
I just gave it a google and from what I could see almost all battlegroups had 20 servers, but it’s a bit hard to verify. I still think the significantly smaller number of servers will mostly make this a non issue, but I suppose we’ll see.
Lol. Wish I could share your optimism but these are the same people who let layering go live after months of being told it would be abused.
Oh and lets not forget about the pages of input on beta for Azeroth.
