Survival hunter as a whole feels terrible on beta. Actually almost every class does.

I couldn’t disagree more. I think it feels nice. I’d be down for one more filler spell for sure, like a flanking return maybe? DK feels really nice as well. New Unholy flows like water. Diseased, icky water but water.

ya mostly everyone is putting feedback when theyre not max level. the difference is insane between 80 and 90

Checked on beta yesterday and even tho its weird when u strafe and have rhe gun look the other way it still hit the target.
Def looks clunky and even with proper haste it wont fix the gun looking the other way. Eagle looked cleaner and had a wider ability “look” even tho it uses the same cone.
That being said i perfer the old ability. Fit the theme better and looks cooler then the shotgun.

I like how it feels but either the animation or the actual aiming is off. Like OP said, it doesn’t visually fire in the direction you are facing if you are strafing.
It feels like theres a weird lag or out of sync issue with the damage timing verses the gunshots. Def needs some work.
I like it though.

If SV people dont want boomstick give it to MM as an option vs volley. tired of raining arrows when i have a gun on.

Going by these forums there is a few who like it but overall the feedback is that people dont like it.
That are just facts. Does not mean everyone dislike it and its very hard to know what people not active on the forums think.
Doubly so since the damn ability is forced on us so we cant avoid taking it to show our dislike.
Opinions be just that. Opinions. And everyones opinion matter equally little/much. In the end we can just voice our feedback (and yes just saying you dislike something is feedback, just not very good).

because theres a loud minority that swap alts to different survival hunters that spread the same uninformed Bellular take about boomstick. thats why its mostly level 10 hunters spreading that “Feedback”
actual survival players like it and happy players dont leave much feedback that isnt already said by community figures
giving beta access to everyone with 90 dollars was a mistake.
using forum activity to measure popularity is just silly and not something a person should do

You have absolutely zero facts or proof of your statement other than that they disagree with you. Hence they cant be real persons who have another differing opinion. Nono its some whole conspiracy orchestrated by “non sv players”…
Also, this should be Old News but most likely every/most level 10 character you see posting on the forums are europeans. The EU forums are since long abandoned by blizzard and as a result the players. But as a EU player you need atleast one lever 10 character on a US realm to get to post on the US forum. So people level a US character to 10 and then goes back to play on EU servers.

not really, again the majority of feedback thats negative about boomstick is strangely coming from level 10 alts. im not saying theres no people that dislike boomstick, theres obviously a population that dislikes it. but i feel like its being heavily inflated to push a narative.
its also funny that you can grab any of these level 10 alts and find out easily that they dont even have max level hunters, but they have max level of other specs
yes obviously, but this arguement falls apart when you slap said level 10 alt on any website that gives you character info like pvp checker and find multiple max level specs on NA servers.
I fail to see your point..are you so afraid of peoples opinions you have to find obscure reasons explaining their feedback away?
If you post on these forums as anything but a hunter character then you get flamed and told to go back to your own forums but If you pick a hunter alt then you are “not a true sv player” and told you are wrong and/or should go back to your main..
Boomstick when viewed for what it is, as it is on beta at this time, is unthematic bland and clunky. It does not feel good to use, it is not cool or impressive to look at and it does not fit the class or spec. And they have made it a mandatory talent since we Have to pick it to go further in the tree.
People have voiced dislike for sv pulling out ranged weapons since legion. Its the small gun for kill shot and crossbow for vipers. And somehow they thought people would like a huge goofy looking blunderbuss that we blast for 3 seconds? Locked in a lame 2001-esque animation?
All I am saying is I’m not surprised very few voice appreciation for the ability and hope they revert/rework it.
Now you are free to disagree with me and many others opinion about boomstick and other things but leave it at that! Give your own feedback about the ability and move on. No need to start conspiracy theories or try to argue Against someone elses feelings or opinions. Just makes you look bad and will ensure no one will take you serious.

again im just making a observation thats back on evidence based on multiple people who frequented this thread having no hunter mains or having hunter mains that do 0 relevant content.
i also stated that this is indeed a tinfoil hat theory and acknowledging that some people dont like the direction the spec is going. im just pointing out that alot of people especially level 10 alts have appeared out of the woodwork flood feedback areas and even eclipse the feedback of others with conversations and arguing in the hunter feedback thread as well. keep in note, due to current trends of historic activity. people tend to send junk feedback aligning with popular streamers after said streamer mentions it. in this case, the uninformed takes of beullar who also made uninformed takes about havoc dh and other melees in his melee tierlist videos. which i might add is full of inaccuracies and falsehoods regarding how specs are going into midnight. its because of those inaccuracies that are repeated constantly in specific feedback threads that makes it painfully obvious that people are just following the “leader” without looking deeper into the spec in question
for example, the video stated that havoc has no way to generate fury despite the spec still having multiple ways to generate fury and has a fluid flow when played correctly w ith proper resource management, obviously it can be made better but as of right now the spec fury economy is rewards proper resource management as oppose to spamming. but ofcourse to the wider audience this video was exposed to, it lead to similar stated feedback of “low fury generation” and a clamoring for the return of demon bite aka a button generator that hasnt been used in serious content for years.
again tin foil hat theory, but the connections are so painfully obvious that it borders on comedy. use that info how you will

Currently level 90 on beta 
My opinion I hate channel effects on melee classes. Going off the return Flanking Strike bandwagon, how do we feel about changing it where the hunters attack is ST, the pet’s attack is a cleave and the connected talents would modify/build off the hunters attack more or the pets?
Would justify it being a forced higher talent on the tree and can change it more for raid or M+ like the Boomstick interactions
